Eligibility: For admission to first year of B Tech, candidate must have passed intermediate examination of UP Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board securing minimum 60 percent marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ ST) in compulsory (Physics and Mathematics) and optional subjects (Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Biology, Computer Science). The admission test is open to the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from any institution located in UP or whose parents ( mother or father) are domiciles of UP and 10% of total sanctioned seats shall be filled on Merit by All India Level Candidates subject to the eligibility conditions prescribed by SEE- MTU. If the candidate has passed qualifying examination from outside of U.P., he/she has to produce domicile certificate of his/her parents (Mother OR Father only) at the time of counseling.

The candidates appearing in the qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent) are also eligible to appear in SEE-MTU subject to the condition that they must fulfill the eligibility criterion at the time of counseling.


Direct Admission (Lateral Entry) to second year (for Diploma Holders and BSC Graduates)

For admission to second year( lateral entry) of B Tech, the candidate must have passed three years Diploma in Engineering course, securing minimum 60% marks in aggregate or three years BSc degree with Mathematics as one subject, securing minimum 60% marks in aggregate. Such candidates are also required to appear in the specified paper of entrance examination.

Such seats are limited to a maximum of 10% in addition to the sanctioned intake in different courses at first year level.

State Entrance Examination:-

The admissions to the B.Tech First year would be made on the basis of State Entrance Examination (SEE) conducted by Central Admission Board (CAB), Mahamaya Technical University, Noida.

15% Management Quota seats are filled directly by the Institute by conducting Institute's level counseling based strictly on the merit of SEE & AIEEE rank in presence of Govt. nominee.


Selection Criteria:-

The admission to 75% of the total seats would be made through State level counselling conducted by UP Technical University, Lucknow. The counseling is done on the basis of Merit List, in the order of ranks obtained in SEE –MTU. These seats will be filled by the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from any institution located in U.P. or whose parents are domicile of U.P. If the candidate has passed qualifying examination from outside of U.P., he/she has to produce domicile certificate of his/her parents (Father OR Mother only) at the time of counselling.

As per State Government’s directive 10% of total sanctioned seats will be filled on merit by All India Level candidates (AIEEE qualified rank holders) subject to the eligibility conditions prescribed by SEE-MTU through University Counseling under the reservation policy of State Govt. of U.P.

15% of total sanctioned seats‡ would be filled by the NRI candidates under Management quota; who possess prescribed qualification with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and which is considered equivalent to 10+2 Examination by the Association of Indian Universities, from an institute situated outside India and the same shall be filled up in accordance with the procedure prescribed by the Govt. and MTU orders.

The vacant seats in NRI/Management quota or vacant seats after counselling of SEE-MTU shall be filled strictly by the qualified candidates of SEE MTU / AIEE who fulfill the eligibility norms as prescribed by Govt/ MTU. Their relative merit will be decided on their rank in respective

Eligibility: Admission Criterion for MBA Program:-

The following criteria as promulgated by AICTE/University are applicable for students to get admission in MBA program at DIT School of Business, Greater Noida.

(a) Admission to 85% of approved seats will be taken based on the result of UPSEE-2011 through centralized counseling conducted by Mahamaya Technical University(MTU),Noida.The eligibility criteria is recognised Bachelors Degree of minimum three years duration and obtained 50%marks(45%marks in case of candidates belonging to reserve category) at the qualifying examination.

(b) Admission to Management Quota of 15% of approved seats will be taken on merit basis through Institute level counselling as per the criteria of the University.
