MVPH and DNEA (CH) Admissions

All India Institute of Hygiene & Public Health, Kolkata has invited applications for admission to the Master of Veterinary Public Health [MVPH] and Diploma in Nursing Education and Administration [Community Health] [ DNEA (CH) ] Courses

Eligibility criteria:
1. Master of Veterinary Public Health (MVPH) :
MBBS or BVSc & AH Degree of the University of Calcutta or any University recognized by the University of Calcutta. Preference will be given to those candidates who are (i) deputed by the Central/State Government or other recognized bodies or (ii) having at least one year experience in the field of Veterinary Science

Diploma in Nursing Education and Administration :
(i) Certificate/ Diploma Course in General Nursing and Midwifery from any of the State Nursing Institutions of India or its equivalent from any other Country and registered with respective Nursing Councils,
(ii) Minimum of two years working experience after basic qualification in a reputed health facility in any clinical area of Nursing or Community Nursing.
Male Nurses must have prescribed training recognised by Nursing Council in lieu of Midwifery. The course will commence from 1stJuly 2012.

Application forms for the courses could be obtained by making a request to the office of the Director, AIIH & PH, Kolkata, either personally or by post.

The last date of receipt of completed application forms by the Institute is 20th April, 2012.
