MGR Film and Television Institute, Chennai has invited applications for admission to the following 3 year Diploma Courses of the Academic Year 2012-13.



. Diploma in Direction, Screenplay Writing and TV Production

. Diploma in Film Technology and TV Production (Cinematography)

. Diploma in Film Technology and TV Production (Film Processing)

. Diploma in Film Technology and TV Production (Sound Recording and Sound Engineering)

. Diploma in Film Editing and TV Production

Application forms with Prospectus can be obtained from 18-05-2012 in person from the Principal, MGR Govt Film and Television Institute, Tharamani, Chennai-600113 by sending a Demand Draft for Rs.200/- (Rs.60/- for SC/ST on production of copy of Community Certificate), drawn on any Nationalised Bank (dated 18-05-2012 onwards), in favour of "Principal, MGR Govt. Film and Television Institute, Tharamani, Chennai-600 113", payable at Chennai. For availing the forms by post, candidates have to attach a self-addressed envelope of size 30 cm x 25 cm, with postage stamp for Rs.25/- affixed.


Application forms and Prospectus can also be downloaded from http://www.tn.gov.in/ and the duly filled applications must be submitted along with Demand Draft for Rs.200/- (Rs.60/- for SC/ST on production of copy of Community Certificate).




Completed applications with the necessary documents should reach 'Principal, MGR Govt. Film and Television Institute, Tharamani, Chennai-600113', latest by 5 pm on 15-06-2012.
