5 Year LL.B Courses in the Government Law Colleges at Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, Thrissur and Kozhikode

Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (Kerala), Housing Board Buildings, Santhinagar, Thiruvananthapuram-695001, has invited applications for the Entrance Examination for admission to 5 Year LL.B Course 2009-10, in the Government Law Colleges at Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, Thrissur and Kozhikode.
Applicant should be an Indian citizen of Kerala origin and should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala or any other Examination recognized by the Universities in Kerala as equivalent thereto, with a minimum of 40% marks (35% for SC/ST). Candidates who are appearing/have appeared for the qualifying examination this year are also eligible to apply for the Entrance Examination subject to the condition that they should produce the pass certificate of the qualifying examination at the time of admission. Applicant should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December 2009.

The Entrance Examination will be conducted at Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, Thrissur and Kozhikode on 05.07.2009 (Sunday). It will be of 3 hours duration and will consist of 200 Multiple Choice Questions from General Knowledge, English and Aptitude for Legal Studies.

There will be separate Application forms for General and SC/ST categories. Application and Prospectus can be downloaded from www.cee-kerala.org.

Application fee is Rs.600/- for General category and Rs.300/- for SC/ST applicants. Keralites residing in Kerala, can remit the application fee in any branch of the State Bank of Travancore, using the Challan provided on page No.5 of the Application form. The original Challan shall be attached with the application form duly signed and authorized by Bank authorities on remittance of application fees. Keralites residing outside Kerala, may remit the application fee by way of a Demand Draft for the requisite amount, drawn on a Nationalized Bank in favour of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram.

Completed Application with all the required documents should reach the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Housing Board Buildings, 5th Floor, Santhinagar, Thiruvananthapuram-695 001, either by Registered Post or by hand delivery latest by 5 pm on 17.06.2009.

The Centralized allotment to the course will be conducted after the publication of the results of the Entrance Examination. Individual intimation regarding the Centralized Allotment Process (CAP) will not be sent to candidates. The details of CAP will be announced later through leading news papers.
