Eligibility: A Pass in any bachelor's degree examination of the Mahatma Gandhi University or an equivalent degree of any other university duly recognized by the Mahatma Gandhi University with not less than 50 percent marks in aggregates, i.e. in all parts of examination, for arts and commerce degrees, and 55 percent for all other degree candidates or 50% marks in aggregate in a Master's Degree Examination of the Mahatma Gandhi University. The candidates belonging to the SC/ST communities shall the eligible for a Concession of marks up to 5 percent in the aggravates to determine their eligibility.

Admission procedure: Admission to the M.B.A (full time) degree programmed shall be on the basis of merit as determined by the admission scores obtained by the candidate seeking admission computed by aggregating the weight age of marks of the candidate in the qualifying examination at the bachelor's or master's degree, as the case may be, the weight age of marks obtain by the candidates in an admission test and the weight age of marks obtained by the candidates by there candidates in the group discussion. and personal interview in a proportion such as: 40% for Academic Qualification, 30% for Admission test, 15% for Group Discussion, 15% for interview, Marks of the academic qualification it calculated as 40% of the maximum marks scored by a candidate in the aggregate if the marks obtained by the candidate as 75% and above, the ceiling will be 75% (Total marks will be converted to 75).

Candidates for the interview shall be called on a 1:3 basis (3 times of sanctioned strength). The admission test is designed to assess the ability of the candidate in Verbal reasoning, Quantitative reasoning, data interpretation, mathematical comprehension and proficiency in English. Admission to the MBA Programme at the School of Management and Business Studies of the Mahatma Gandhi University shall be on the basis of the admission test conducted under the supervision of a committee as decided by the M.G. University. This College's Management has the right to reject admission to any student without assigning reasons.

The Admission Process
Eligibility Criteria:MBA/MHRM: Master of Business Administration/Master of Human Resources Management 2 year full time residential 50% marks in aggregate for Arts, Commerce and B.B.A. degrees; 55% marks in aggregate for graduates in any other discipline (B.Sc, BTech/B.E.etc). 50% marks in aggregate for Post Graduate degree holders (Aggregate marks include marks obtained in all subjects.) The degree must be recognized by Mahatma Gandhi University. Final year students may also apply.

Admission Procedure: 1. For both MBA and MHRM courses , the candidates have to appear for the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) conducted by the All India Management Association to be held on 2nd December 2007 and 3rd February 2008. The MAT bulletin with form may be obtained by sending a DD for Rs 690/- drawn in favour of AIMA- CMS payable in New Delhi addressed to All India Management Association, 14 Institutional Area, Lodhi Road, New Delhi. The MAT bulletin and form can also be obtained on payment of cash from the college offices of Rajagiri College of Social Sciences at Kalamassery and Kakkanad 2. In addition to the MAT application, a separate application form should be submitted to Rajagiri School of Management.

The Academy has instituted one Merit Scholarship in each course with at least 25 enrolments at all Centres to the enrollee who registers the best performance through all pertinent admission tests and the interview, subject to minimum requirements of performance. The Scholarship waives payment of tuition fee only. The waiver is granted in the first year, and carries on in the second year on condition that the awardee’s academic performance in the first year meets the prescribed standards of achievement.In the event the waiver is withdrawn in the second year, tuition fee becomes payable; however, the Academy will facilitate the student an educational loan from Punjab National Bank at a modest interest rate and comfortable repayment period. Such facilitation is also available to the awardees in the first year to cover other payablefees/charges, should it be so desired.Industry ScholarshipsThere are a few scholarships sponsored by reputed companies (top left) for meritorious, financially deserving students. The scholarships are awarded to such students who lack adequate financial means but have demonstrated strong academic performance. The term of scholarship is for one year and an application is to be made for each year in January after the results of the August-December semester are declared. Admission Procedure
Given the rigour of teaching and learning, through which the Academy strives to steer students to the defined graduate profile, we look out for talented, intelligent, ambitious students, who are prepared to put in only their best efforts to build up a fulfilling career - young people with all-round abilities, who show the energy, the potential and thecommitment to be the industry captains of tomorrow. So when we are assessing you, we will be particularly evaluating your career focus, your creative and aesthetic sense, your level of commitment and energy, your potential as a team member, your ability to handle stress, and of course, your communication skills. For this purpose, everyapplicant, whose eligibility is proven, passes through an entrance test, other screening methods and an interview. Those candidates, who register strong indications of both proficiency and aptitude, are selected in order of merit, subject to the overall intake.

TESTS FOR FM, GM, FR, FMG
Candidates answer a 60 minute General Proficiency Test (GPT) in English language to demonstrate their proficiency in language (comprehension, vocabulary, expression), mathematics (10th standard), logic, etc. Candidates who answered any AIMA-MAT tests held in the twelve months prior to the date of the Academy’s entrance exam (seeinstructions in accompanying Declaration Form) and had scored at least 500 will not have to appear in the GPT. Successful candidates from the GPT and eligible AIMA-MAT scorers will be called for further screening consisting of group discussion and individual interview.

TESTS FOR FDIW, TDHF
Candidates answer the same General Proficiency Test (GPT) as above. AIMA-MAT participants with qualifiers as above will be exempted from taking the GPT. However, all candidates have to appear in the Design Aptitude Test (DAT), which examines a candidate for aptitude in perception, illustration, drawing, visualization, colour sense, etc. Successful candidates from GPT/AIMA-MAT and DAT will be called for Situation Test and interview. The Situation Test is a group activity in which you will have to collaborate with other candidates to implement a design brief with provided materials within a stipulated duration of time.

A few seats are reserved, at a higher fee, for industry-sponsored candidates and foreign nationals. Such candidates will have to compete against the reserved seats for admission.

Other centres may also be added, and such information, as well as the exact location of the centres, will be notified later.
