ADMISSION TO MANAGEMENT PROGRAMME (MP)-OPENMAT- XXV

IGNOU invites application for the following Degree/Diploma Programmes in Management:

Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Diploma in Management (DIM)
PG Diploma in management (PGDIM)
Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDIM)
PG Diploma in Human Resource Management(PGDHRM)
PG Diploma in financial management (PGDFM)
PG Diploma in operations Management (PGDOM)
PG Diploma in Marketing Management (PGDMM)

Walk in Admission

Candidates who qualify entrance test can submit the registration form (Form-2), which has been provided in the student handbook and prospectus, along with hall ticket of the entrance test, to the respective Regional Centres before the due date.

Note: Provision for on line registration for admission to the successful candidates will be made available on the university wesite: www.ignou.ac.in after the declaration of the entrance test result.

All the above programmes have multi-media design, and technology aided delivery systems. These are offered through countrywide network of study centres. The University will be admitting the students for the above degree/diplomas in management starting from July 2009 through an entrance test OPENMAT-XXV to be held on Sunday, the 1st February, 2009 all over the country.

Eligibility for admission:

1. Graduate in any discipline with 50% marks for general category and 45% for reserved category.
2. Graduates who have successfully cleared the entrance test for admission into the management programme conducted by recognized institutions like CAT, MAT State level tests conducted by state governments eetc., need not sit for the OPENMAT Entrance test.

There is no age bar for any of the programmes .

Last date for receipt of request for PROSPECTUS by post is 20th December, 2008.
Filled in form for entrance test PENMAT-XXV must reach, the Registrar (SED), IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi by Registered post/Speed post on or before 31st December, 2008.

Application form and prospectus can also be downloaded from the website: www.ignou.ac.in and sent alongwith a DD/IPO for Rs.550/- in favour of IGNOU payable at New Delhi by Registered/speed post to:

Registrar (sed), Block-12, IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi-110068.

Prospectus will be sent to such applicants after receipt of Rs.550/-as explained above.
