ADMISSION NOTICE FOR LONG TERM COURES – 2008

Applications are invited in the prescribed form for admission to the following courses commencing from August 2008

COURSE
1. ADVANCE DIPLOMA IN TOOL AND DIE MAKING (Four Years; 40 Seats)
Qualification: 10th Standard with Science and Maths or Equivalent with 60% marks in aggregate (50% for the candidates belonging to SC/ST category)
Course Fee: Rs.20000/- per annum ( in Two equal installments)

2. CERTIFICATE IN MACHINIST (TOOL ROOM) ( 2Years; 20 seats)
Qualification: 10th Standard with Science and Maths with 60% marks in aggregate (50% for the candidates belonging to SC/ST category)
Course Fee: Rs.15000/- per annum ( in Two equal installments)

Age: 15-19 years as on 1/8/2008 (3 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates)

Reservation in seats to SC/ST/OBC/PH are applicable as per rules and course are open to Boys and Girls.

PLACEMENT: Institute arranges Campus Interviews. Almost 100% placement for pass-out students.

INTERNSHIP: On successful completion of the course, the Trainees may have to undergo One year Internship, if required at the discretion of the General Manager, IGTR, Aurangabad.

MODE OF SELECTION: Based on the merit list in the written test, limited number of candidates will be called to attend the personal Interview conducted by IGTR at Aurangabad. The final selection shall be purely based on the merit list prepared on the combined performance of written test and interview conducted by IGTR at Aurangabad.

HOW TO APPLY:
Prescribed application form along with prospectus can be obtained form the Manger (Admin & Finance) by paying Rs.300/- (Rs.150/- in case of SC/ST candidates) in cash or demand draft (DD) in favour of “Indo German Tool Room, Aurangabad” drawn on any nationalized bank payable at Aurangabad. The get the same by post. DD should accompany self addressed envelop of size 24 cm x 17cm affixed with postage stamp of RS.15/- SC/ST candidates should send proof of caste. (The above charges are to met the expenses for conducting written test & interviews)

IMPORTANT DATES:
Commencement of issue of application forms; 2nd June 2008
Last date for receipt of duly filled-in application forms by post or in person: 30th June 2008
Written Test and Interview: 20th & 21st July 2008.
Commencement of Course: 4th August 2008

GENERAL CONDITIONS:
i Incomplete applications are liable to be rejected. IGTR reserves the right to reject any application without assigning any reason. Interim enquiries will not be entertained.

(ii) Candidates belong to the reserved categories should substantiate their claim by enclosing a certificate sassed by competent authority. In case of OBC category, candidate must produce the certificate form competent authority certifying that he/she does not belonging to creamy layer. In case of PAP’s (Project Affected persons) certificate to be produced form Regional Officer of M.I.D.C.

(iii) Individual application forms are required for each course

(iv) Tool Room is not responsible for any postal delay/ misplacement

(v) The number of seats advertises are provisional and the Tool Room reserves the rights to alter the number of seats.

(vi) The rules made by the Tool Rom regarding the selection and the closure of admission shall be final and binding. Candidates are advised to refer prospectus for further details.

(vii) Hostel facility may be made available for boys and girls separately.
