Admission To Part-Time B.E/ B.Tech(Part-Time) Self-Supporting Programme-2009
Applications are invited for admission to Part Time B.E(Part Time) Self Supporting Degree Programme, offered in the University Departments of Anna University Tirunelveli for the year 2009 at the following centres:
1) TIRUNELVELI 2) TUTICORIN 3) NAGERCOIL

HOW TO APPLY:
Application forms can be had in person at the University Office from 20.11.08 on payment of Rs.500/- (for General categories) and Rs.250/-(in case of SC/ST candidates belonging to Tamilnadu on production of copy of community certificate) in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of “The Director, Centre for Professional Development Education, Anna University Tirunelveli” payable at Tirunelveli.

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION:
* Qualification:
Candidates should have passed the Diploma examination in Engineering/ Technology in the relevant branch of specialization conducted by the State Board of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu or any other equivalent examination recognized by Anna University.
* Year of Qualifying for Diploma:
Candidates who have obtained the Diploma in the relevant filed before 01.01.2008 are eligible.
* Employment:
Shall have been employed for at least one year after passing the entire subject in Diploma.
* Place of Work:
Candidates should be working in a place within a distance of 65 km from the University so as to enable him / her to attend the classes regularly by 6.15 p.m.

Commencement of B.E. (Part-Time) Self Supporting Degree Programmes One center each at Kanyakumari and Thoothukudi Districts for Working Professionals.
Applications are invited form eligible candidates for admission to B.E. (Part-Time) self supporting degree programmes, January 2008 in the following disciplines
1. B.E. Civil Engineering
2. B.E. Mechanical Engineering
3. B.E. Electrical and Electronics Engineering
4. B.E. Electronics and Communication Engineering
5. B.E. Computer Science and Engineering
Candidaes who have passed Diploma examination in Engineering/Technology in the relevant branch of specialization with a minimum of one year work experience after passing the entire subjects in Diploma and working within a distance of 65 km from the study centers are eligible to apply for the programmes.
The application forms along with information and instruction to candidates can be had from the University Office in person on payment of Rs.500/- (Rupees five hundred only) for general (Rs.250/- in case of Tamilnadu SC/ST candidates on production of copy of community certificate) in favour of “Vice Chancellor, Anna University Tirunelveli” payable at Tirunelveli. The applications can also be obtained by post, addressed to “Coordinator (PTBE Admissions), Anna University Tirunelveli, Govt. College of Engineering Campus, Tirunelveli 627007” along with DD and a self-addressed stamped envelope for Rs.10/- (Rupees Ten only).
