ADMISSION NOTIFICATION 2013

Banasthali University, Rajasthan has invited applications for admission to the following courses from women (only) candidates for the Academic Year 2013-13.

Admission to the Banasthali Vidyapith is open to women only.

Admission is open to all women irrespective of their race, religion, caste, colour or domicile.

A student admitted to the Banasthali Vidyapith has to compulsorily join a hostel of the Vidyapith unless the student is a ward of some worker of the Vidyapith and stays with the worker in the campus, or the student belongs to a neighboring village community within a radius of 25 kms.

Every student seeking admission to the Banasthali Vidyapith has to submit an application on the prescribed form and pay the requisite application fee by the prescribed date.

Foreign/NRI/NRI sponsored Admissions

A limited number of seats are available for Foreign/NRI/NRI sponsored candidates. Admission against these seats are based directly upon the merit and the applicants do not have to appear in the Aptitude Test. The eligibility for Foreign/NRI/NRI sponsored candidates is 40% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination (Except for B.Ed. where it is 50% and M.Ed. where it is 55%).

The following documents are required for admission against Foreign/NRI/NRI sponsored seats:

(i) Original Certificates/ Marksheets of the qualifying examination.

(ii) Attested photocopies of the Passport and Visa of the NRI Sponsor of the applicant.

(iii) Foreign Bank Account Number or NRI Account Number of the NRI applicant or NRI Sponsor of the applicant.

(iv) Declaration regarding, Non-Resident Indian status of the NRI applicant or NRI Sponsor of the applicant.

RE-ADMISSION : If a student is separated from Banasthali or Shri Shantabai Shiksha Kutir and in the event Banasthali Vidyapith decides to readmit her, admission fee of Rs. 5,000/- shall be payable. The admission of a student shall be automatically cancelled due to unauthorized absence of three days or more.

Absence without prior written permission from the Vidyapith shall be treated as unauthorized absence.

OPTION 1 :

Banasthali Vidyapith -304022 - Rajasthan, INDIA along with a request for application form clearly mentioning the course you wish to apply for, with your name at the reverse of the Bank Draft also.

OPTION 2 :

OPTION 3:
Online Submission of application is also possible on the University website http://www.banasthali.org.
This option is not available for applying to B.Ed./ M.Ed./ B.P.Ed. Programmes.
One must fill the form giving the DD No. for application fee of Rs. 500/- (Rs. 1,100/- with late fee after May 8, 2008 upto May 15, 2008). Only on receiving the draft, the application will be further processed.

Separate form is to be filled for each programme. For B.Tech.(CSE/EC/IT/BT/CE) one has to fill only one form but a separate form for B.Pharm.

PC in HOSTEL:
A PC is provided with the internet in every hostel room for PG students currently residing in six new hostels. The PC in a room is to be shared by all inmates. All those who wish to available this facility have to pay in their hostel room are paying a security deposit of Rs. 10,000/- through DD drawn in favour of "Banasthali Vidyapith A/c AIM & ACT". This is an interest free refundable amount.
