Central University of Kerala is launching two innovative inter-disciplinary courses in the Choice Based Credit Semester System for students who are interested in pursuing Postgraduate Studies in English and Economics

1. English (MA in Comparative Literature (School of Languages and Comparative Literature)

2. Economics (MA in Economic Theory and Global Governance (School of Global Studies)

Eligibility: Graduation in any discipline with not less than 50% marks (minimum 50% marks in English compulsory)

Relaxation up to 5% marks granted for SC/ST candidates.

Admission will be on the basis of an Entrance Test

PG Courses admissions 2009-2010

Central University of Kerala, Kasaragod

Central University of Kerala, Nayanmar Moola, Vidyanagar P O, Kasaragod-671 123, has invited applications for admission to its inter-disciplinary Post Graduate courses in English and Economics under the Choice Based Credit Semester System.

The Courses offered are MA in Comparative Literature at the School of Languages and Comparative Literature and MA in Economic Theory and Global Governance at the School of Global Studies.

Those with Graduation in any discipline with not less than 50% marks having a minimum of 50% marks in English are eligible. SC/ST candidates are eligible for a relaxation of 5% marks.

Admission will be on the basis of an Entrance Test (subject to the conditions specified in the Prospectus) to be held from 10 am to 12 noon on 13.9.2009 (Sunday) at New Delhi, Bombay, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore, Mangalore, Kochi, Trivandrum and Kasaragod. It will have objective type questions. The standard of the test will be on a par with graduation level.
