Haryana Govt. has offered some Ph.D. Scholarships to the University for the whole time research scholars with a scholarship of Rs. 18000/- per month and an additional amount of Rs.5000/- (contingency expenses) in the departments are to be awarded through the Entrance Test in the Concerned Departments scheduled to be held on 12-03-2008:

The applicant must be throughout First Class (Matric onwards) in his academic career. The information brochure containing application form and other details is available on Sale counter (Registration Branch) on payment of Rs. 500/- (Rs. 125/- in case of SC/BC candidates of Haryana). The same can also be obtained from Asstt. Registrar (Regn.) upto 26.02.2008 by sending Demand Draft of Rs. 550/- (Rs. 175/- in case of SC/BC candidates of Haryana) in favour of Registrar, GJUS&T, Hisar payable at Hisar. The application form and other details are also available on the university website www.gju.ernet.in. Such applicant must attach a Bank Draft of Rs. 500/- (Rs. 125/- in case of SC/BC candidates of Haryana). Applications, complete in all respect, must reach, Chairperson of the department concerned by 03-03-2008 upto 5.00pm. Incomplete applications or those received after last date shall not be entertained. General category candidates obtaining 60% and SC/ST candidates obtaining 55% marks in the Entrance Test will obly qualify. Reservation, if any, shall be department wise as per Haryana Government policy. Result of the Entrance Test will be declared on 15-03-2008.
