HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT IN SINGAPORE

Singapore tourism industry is poised for strong growth with the development of various upcoming iconic events and infrastructure. Among these are the two integrated Resorts, the Formula One Grand Prix and new attractions such as the Singapore Flyer. These are expected to lead to the creation of 100000 additional jobs inthe tourism and hospitality industry by 2015.

THE WORLD OF HOSPITALITY:
The fast expanding tourism infrastructure in the region has led to a strong increase in offering of tourism-related courses across Singapore's public, foreign and private institutions. Singapore has, today, attracted various niche international brand names in this field, including the Cornell-Nanyang Institute of Hospitality Management (CNI), and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). These are complemented by specialised private institutions, such as at-Surice, the Singapore Hotel and Tourism Education Centre (SHATEC), and the Tourism Management Institute of Singapore (TMIS), which offer a Spectrum of Courses at Masters, Bachelor, Diploma and Certificate levels.
