6.MCA (Master of Computer Applications)
Eligibility: A first class Degree in Physics / Chemistry with ancillary Maths / Statistics / Computer Science / Applied Science / B.com. / B.B.A/ B.E./equivalent there to in the related disciplines. (for SC/ST candidates 55%)

7. M.Sc. Computer Science
Eligibility: B.Sc. Computer Science / Bachelor of Computer Applications/equivalent there to in the related disciplines minimum 55%

8. MCA (WE)
Eligibility: Degree in Physics / Chemistry with ancillary Maths /Statistics / Computer Science / Applied Science / B.com./ B.B.A/ B.E./equivalent there to in the related disciplines with 50% marks.


School of Biotechnology:
9. M.Sc. Biotechnology
Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree in Physical (Physics & Chemistry), Biological (Botany & Zoology), Biochemistry, MicroBiology, Biotechnology, Agricultural, Veterinary, Fisheries Sciences, Pharmacy/ Engineering / Technology or equivalent degree with at least 55% Marks

10. M.Sc. Bio Informatics
Eligibility: B.Sc. Any subject, B.Sc (Agriculture), B.V.Sc, B.Pharm, B.Tech, M.B.B.S (any degree equalent thereto 55% of marks.

11. M.Sc – Bio Electronics & Bio sensor
Eligibility: B.Sc Degree in Science Subjects

12. M.Sc – Animal Health & Management
Eligibility: Any degree (B.Sc/B.E/M.B.B.S/B.V.Sc) preferably with Biology, Zoology or Botany based atleast in the +2 level.

Eligibility: B.Sc (Maths), Physics, Biology as main subject or B.Sc Applied Maths , Applied Physics, Electronics, Nuclear Physics, Bio Physics, Industrial Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Biotechnology, Nano Biotechnology, Bio Chemistry and Micro Biology

14. M.Sc. Oceanography and Coastal Area Studies (Thondi Campus)
Eligibility: B.Sc. in Zoology / Botany / Chemistry / Fishery Science /Earth Science / Physics / Agriculture / Microbiology /Applied Sciences or equivalent thereof in the related disciplines at least 50% marks for SC/ST 45% marks.

Eligibility: B.A/B.Litt Degree with Tamil B.A, B.Sc under Part I or Part III.

Eligibility: B.Sc. Chemistry / Special Chemistry / Industrial Chemistry / Textile Chemistry / Electro Chemistry / Applied Chemistry / Applied Science and any two of Maths, Physics, Textile Chemistry / Electro Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Computer Application, Microbiology as ancillary subjects with a minimum of 55% in Part III, SC/ST candidates 45% .

School of Education: Department of Education
22. M.Ed. (1 year)
Eligibility: B.Ed. with 50% in aggregate’ those who have completed the B.Ed course also may apply.

23. College of Education
B.Ed
Eligibility: A degree in Tamil/ English /Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry/ Botany/zoology//History with Marks. For O.C 50%,B.C 45%, M.B.C 43% SC/ ST 40% in Part III & allied Subject. For Commerce M.Com; alone are eligible.

School of Physical Education:
24. *D.P.Ed. (Two years)
Eligibility: The candidates possessing the qualification of +2 (12 years of schooling) with 45% marks are eligible. For those who have participated in State and National Level Sports events, the minimum percentage of marks in +2 should be 40%.
Age: 17-25 years for OC/BC/MBC; 17-30 years for SC/ST/Widow/Orphan/Deserted women.

25. *B.P.Ed.(1 year)
Eligibility: Graduate in Physical Education (ie) BPE Course or its equivalent of three years duration or Graduate who has secured 1st , 2nd and 3rd position in intercollegiate sports / games tournaments / possessing NCC ‘C” certificate / or / passed basic course in Adventure course or Graduate with 1 year Training programme in Sports Science, Sports Management, Sports Coaching, Yoga Olympic Education, Sports Journalism etc.,

26. *M.P.Ed. (2 years)
Eligibility: B.P.Ed.


School of Library & Information Science:
27. B.L.I.Sc (1 year) Bachelor of Library & Information Science
Eligibility: Any under graduate degree from recognized University.

28. M.L.I.Sc (1 year)
Eligibility: B.L.I.Sc

29. C.L.I.Sc (3 months)
Eligibility: H.Sc or +2 pass


*For the courses offered by the School of Physical Education, eligible Candidates would be selected on the basis of an Medical Test, Physical Efficiency Test and Games Test to be conducted at the AUCPE Campus and the dates will be notified separately.

Application Cost:
1. Rs. 500 (Rs.250/for SC/ST) for MBA / MCA
2. Rs.300/(Rs.150/for SC/ST) for all other courses.

Application and Prospectus can be obtained from the undersigned on requisition along with a crossed Bank Draft drawn in favour of The Registrar, Alagappa University payable at Karaikudi by enclosing a selfaddressed stamped (Rs.15.00) envelope of 35cm x 10 cm. SC/ST candidates should submit attested Xerox copy of the Community Certificate along with the requisition letter.
