NOTICE: DNB: CET
Centralized Entrance Test – June 2009

The National Board of Examinations is an autonomous organization of the Ministry of Health and Family welfare, Government of India.

NBE conducts DNB programme at various accredited medical colleges/hospitals/institutions leading to the award of DNB.

DNB is a recognized qualification as per provisions of Indian Medical Council Act, and the Government of India vide its various notifications issued from time to time has equated the DNB qualifications to the corresponding MD/MS qualification awarded by various Indian Universities.

Centralized entrance test is the entrance examination for admission to othe 3 years post graduate(post MBBS)DNB Programme.

The board shall be conducting the next session of DNB CET on 14th June, 2009.

For list of accredited hospitals, course/specialities available, eligibility criteria, pattern of examination, examination centres, validity of results, etc. candidates may kindly efer to the information Bulletin-cum-application form for the DNB CET June 2009 session which can be obtained from (w.e.f. 10th February, 2009).

(A) Selected branches of Indian Bank on cash payment of Rs.500/-only(For list of branches, kindly refer to detailed notice on website or contact helpline No.460554605).
(B) Can be downloaded from website of the Board www.natboard.edu.in (The cost of Rs.500/-towards the information bulletin and application form shall be payable with the examination fees).

Duly complete application form along with examination fees of Rs.3000/- only can be submitted to the office of NBE latest by 9th March, 2009.

Note: Use of Mobile phones/Electronic Devices is strictly prohibited in the premises of NBE Examination centres.

FMGE SCREENING TEST-MARCH 2009

As per the Screening test Regulations 2002, an Indian citizen possessing a primary medical qualification awarded by any medical institution outside India who is desirous of getting provisional or permanent registration with the Medical Council of India or State Medical Council on or after 15.03.2002 shall have to quality a screening test.

The next session of the FMG Exam shall be conducted by the National Board of Examinations on Sunday the 29th March, 2009 at New Delhi.

The eligibility of the candidate shall be governed by the screening test regulations, Eligibility certificate regulations, judgement of Hon’ble Supreme Court in Civil Appeal No.2779 of 2000 and other judgements of Hon’ble Supreme court/High courts in this regard.

For details of the scheme of examination, eligibility criteria, fee structure and application forms candidates are advised to refer to the information bulletin cum application form downloaded(16.01.2009 onwards). The Last Date of submission of duly completed Application Form is 9th February. 2009 (with out late fee)and 16th February, 2009 (with late fee of Rs.1500/-)

NBE's 14th Convocation of DNB and FNB
NATIONAL BOARD OF EXAMINATIONS has announced the 14th CONVOCATION OF DIPLOMATE NATIONAL BOARD (DNB) & FELLOW NATIONAL BOARD (FNB)

The National Board of Examinations shall hold the 14th convocation on the 15th March 2008 at CHRIST COLLEGE, Bangaluru (Bangalore). Candidates Successful in the DNB – Broad & Superspecialties Final Examinations for sessions December 2006 and June 2007 shall be awarded the Diplomate National Board (DNB). Candidates Successful in the Fellowship Exit Examinations held in year 2007 shall be awarded Fellow National Board (FNB). Detailed communication about the 14th Convocation is available at the website of the board http://www.natboard.edu.in/ All eligible candidates are requested to make it convenient to attend the convocation. Candidates who do not wish to attend the convocation in person may file their request for receiving their certificates in absentia along with inabsentia fees of Rupees One thousand only. Last Date for submission of requests for attending convocation in person or inabsentia is 31st January 2008.
