Eligibility Conditions:
(I) Nationality:
A candidate must be either:
(a) a citizen of India, or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to Indian before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka or East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia or from Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary, may be admitted to the examination but the offer of appointment may be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued by the Government of India.
(II) Age Limits:
(a) A candidate for this examination must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on the 1st August, 2010 i.e. he must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1980 and not later than 1st August, 1989.
(b) The upper age-limit of 30 years will be relaxable upto 35 years in the case of Government servants of the following categories, if they are employed in a Department/Office under the control of any of the authorities mentioned in column 1 below and apply for admission to the examination for all or any of the Service(s)/Posts mentioned in column 2, for which they are otherwise eligible.
(III) Minimum Educational Qualification:
For admission to the examination, a candidate must have—
(a) obtained a degree in Engineering from a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other Educational Institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as Universities under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; or
(b) passed Section A and B of the Institution Examinations of the Institution of Engineers (India); or
(c) obtained a degree/diploma in Engineering from such foreign University/College/Institution and under such conditions as may be recognised by the Government for the purpose from time to time, or
(d) passed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (India); or
(e) passed Associate Membership Examination Parts II and III/Sections A and B of the Aeronautical Society of India; or
(f) passed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institution of Electronics and Radio Engineers, London held after November, 1959.
Provided that a candidate for the post of Indian Naval Armament Service (Electronics Engineering Posts and Engineer Group 'A' in Wireless Planning and Coordination Wing/Monitoring Organisation) may possess any of the above qualifications or the qualification mentioned below namely:-
M.Sc. degree or its equivalent with Wireless Communication, Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering as a special subject.
NOTE-1—A candidate who has appeared at an examination the passing of which would render him educationally qualified for this examination, but has not been informed of the result, may apply for admission to the examination. A candidate who intends to appear at such a qualifying examination may also apply. Such candidates will be admitted to the examination, if otherwise eligible, but their admission would be deemed to be provisional and subject to cancellation, if they do not produce proof of having passed the requisite qualifying examination alongwith the detailed applications which will be required to be submitted by the candidates who qualify on the result of written part of the examination.
NOTE-2—In exceptional cases, the Commission may treat a candidate, who has not any of the qualifications prescribed in this rule, as educationally qualified provided that he has passed examinations conducted by other institutions the standard of which in the opinion of the Commission justifies his admission to the examination.
NOTE-3—A candidate who is otherwise qualified but who has taken a degree from a foreign University which is not recognised by Government, may also apply to the Commission and may be admitted to the examination at the discretion of the Commission.
(iv) Physical standards
Candidates must be physically fit according to physical standards for admission to Engineering Services Examination, 2010 as per guidelines given in Appendix-II of the rules for theEngineering Services Examination, 2010 published in the Gazette of India Extraordinary dated 30th January, 2010.
FEE:
A candidate seeking admission to Examination must pay to the Commission a fee of Rs. 100.00 (Rupees One hundred only) through a single Central Recruitment Fee stamp. Central Recruitment Fee Stamp of the requisite denomination. Central Recruitment Fee Stamp (NOT postage stamps) must be obtained from the post office and affixed on the application form in the space provided therein. The stamp may be got cancelled from the issuing Post Office with the date stamp of the post office in such a manner that the impression of the cancellation mark partially overflows on the application form itself but within the space provided on the form. The impression of the cancellation mark should be clear and distinct to facilitate the identification of date and the Post Office of issue.
Candidates residing abroad should deposit the prescribed fee in the office of India’s High Commissioner, Ambassador or representative abroad as the case may be for credit to account head "051-Public Service Commission-Examination Fees" and attach the receipt with the application.
APPLICATION NOT COMPLYING WITH THIS REQUIREMENT WILL BE SUMMARILY REJECTED.
ALL FEMALES CANDIDATES AND CANDIDATES BELONGING TO SCHEDULED CASTE/SCHEDULED TRIBE/PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED CATEGORIES ARE EXEMPTED FROM PAYMENT OF FEE. NO FEE EXEMPTION IS, HOWEVER, AVAILABLE TO OBC CANDIDATES AND THEY ARE REQUIRED TO PAY THE PRESCRIBED FEE IN FULL.
HOW TO APPLY:
(a) The Commission proposes to make available online application submission for Engineering Services Examination 2010 from 6th February to 22nd February 2010 for which a separate notice is to be issued.
(b) The UPSC have developed an application form common for all their examination which will be processed on computerised machines. This application form along with an Information Brochure containing general instructions for filling up the form, an acknowledgement card and an envelope for sending the application is obtainable from the designated Head Post Offices/Post Offices throughout the country as listed in Appendix-III of Notice against cash payment of Rs. 20/- (Rupees twenty only). Form should be purchased from the designated Post Offices only and not from any other agency. This form can be used only once and for only one examination. Candidates who wish to apply offline must use the form supplied with the Information Brochure only and they should in no case use photocopy/reproduction/unauthorisedly printed copy of the Form. Since this form is electronically scannable, due care should be taken to fill up the application form correctly. While filling up the application form, please rear to detailed instructions given in Appendix-II of this Notice. The candidate should also fill up in the relevant places of the Acknowledgement Card, their Application Form Number (8-digit) and the name of the Examination. The applicants are required to affix the postage stamp of Rs. 6/- on the Acknowledgement Cards and send the same alongwith application form to UPSC. If an applicant fails to affix the postage stamp of requisite amount his acknowledgement card will not be despatched and Commission will not be responsible for non-receipt of acknowledgement card by the applicant. The duly filled in application form and the acknowledgement card should then be mailed in the special envelope supplied with the Information Brochure. The candidate should also write the name of Examination viz. "Engineering Services Examination, 2010" on the envelope before despatching it to "Secretary, Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, New Delhi-110069".
(c) All candidates, whether already in Government Service, or in Government owned industrial undertakings or other similar organisations or in private employment, should submit their applications direct to the Commission. If any candidate forwards his application through his employer and it reaches the Union Public Service Commission late, the application, even if submitted to the employer before the closing date, will not be considered.
Persons, already in Government service whether in a permanent or temporary capacity or as work-charged employees other than casual or daily rated employees or those serving under public enterprises are, however, required to submit an undertaking that they have informed in writing their Head of Office/Department that they have applied for the Examination. Candidates should note that in case communication is received from their employer by the Commission withholding permission to the candidates applying for/appearing at the Examination, their application will be liable to be rejected/candidature will be liable to be cancelled.
Note 1: WHILE FILLING IN HIS APPLICATION FORM, THE CANDIDATE SHOULD CAREFULLY DECIDE ABOUT HIS CHOICE FOR THE CENTRE AND ENGINEERING DISCIPLINE FOR THE EXAMINATION. MORE THAN ONE APPLICATION FROM A CANDIDATE GIVING DIFFERENT CENTRES AND OR ENGINEERING DISCIPLINE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED IN ANY CASE. EVEN IF A CANDIDATE SENDS MORE THAN ONE COMPLETED APPLICATION, THE COMMISSION WILL ACCEPT ONLY ONE APPLICATION AT THEIR DISCRETION AND THE COMMISSION’S DECISION IN THE MATTER SHALL BE FINAL.
IF ANY CANDIDATE APPEARS AT A CENTRE ENGINEERING DISCIPLINE OTHER THAN THE ONE INDICATED BY THE COMMISSION IN HIS ADMISSION CERTIFICATE, THE PAPERS OF SUCH A CANDIDATE WILL NOT BE VALUED AND HIS CANDIDATURE WILL BE LIABLE TO CANCELLATION.
Note 2. SINCE THESE APPLICATION FORMS ARE TO BE PROCESSED IN A COMPUTERISED SYSTEM, DUE CARE SHOULD BE TAKEN BY THE CANDIDATES TO FILL UP THEIR APPLICATION FORM CORRECTLY. NECESSARY INSTRUCTIONS FOR FILLING UP THE FORM MAY BE SEEN AT APPENDIX II. NO COLUMN OF THE APPLICATION SHOULD BE LEFT BLANK. INCOMPLETE OR DEFECTIVE APPLICATIONS SHALL BE SUMMARILY REJECTED. NO REPRESENTATION OR CORRESPONDENCE REGARDING SUCH REJECTION SHALL BE ENTERTAINED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
CANDIDATES ARE NOT REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ALONG WITH THEIR APPLICATIONS ANY CERTIFICATES IN SUPPORT OF THEIR CLAIMS REGARDING AGE, EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS, SCHEDULED CASTES/SCHEDULED TRIBES/OTHER BACKWARD CLASSES AND PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED ETC.
The candidates applying for the Examination should ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility conditions for admission to the Examination. Their admission at all the stages of examination for which they are admitted by the Commission viz. Written Examination and Interview Test will be purely provisional, subject to their satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions. If on verification at any time before or after the Written examination or Interview Test, it is found that they do not fulfill any of the eligibility conditions, their candidature for the Examination will be cancelled by the Commission.
Candidates are requested to keep ready the attested copies of the following documents for submission to the Commission soon after the declaration of the results of the written Examination which is likely to be declared in the month of December, 2010.
LAST DATE FOR RECEIPT OF OFFLINE APPLICATIONS:
* The completed offline application form must reach the Secretary, Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, New Delhi-110069 on or before 2nd March, 2010.
* In respect of offline applications received only by post (by post/speed post) from the candidates residing in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Jammu & Kashmir, Lahaul and Spiti District and Pangi sub-division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands or Lashadweep or aboard, the last date of receipt of applications is 9th March, 2010. The benefit of extended time, will be available only in respect of applications received by post/Speed post from the above mentioned areas/regions. In the case of applications received by hand or through courier service, benefit of extended time will not be available regardless of the place of residence of the applicant.

Pharma, Chemical Technology, OR M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Botany, Zoology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Genetics, Biophysics, Microbial Genetics and Bioinformatics. (For Anna University: Candidates with B.Tech/B.E in Electrochemistry, Bioengineering and M.Sc. in Chemistry & Physics are also eligible. For West Bengal University of Technology : Candidates with M.Sc. in Bioengineering are also eligible. For Cochin University of Science and Technology: Candidates with M.Sc in Marine Biotechnology, Marine Biology/Aquatic Biology & Fisheries, Environmental Biotechnology are also eligible.).

Reservation/Concession:
a) Reservation: 15%, 7½% and 3% of seats shall be reserved for SC, ST and Physically Challenged (Handicapped) (PH) candidates respectively. All the SC/ST and PH candidates who have passed the qualifying examination are eligible to apply irrespective of their percentage of marks in the qualifying degree examination. OBC reservation, wherever applicable, will be implemented as per the policy of each participating University.
b) Concession for Kashmiri Migrants: 10% marks will be added to the overall marks scored by a Kashmiri Migrant candidate in the entrance examination. After adding 10% marks, in case he/she is covered in the cut-off point in the merit list, he/she will be offered admission strictly in accordance with his/her inter-se merit alongwith other candidates subject to his/her meeting the minimum prescribed eligibility requirements and also subject to his/her producing valid registration documents issued by the notified authorities certifying the candidate’s Kashmiri Migrant status.
Tuition Fee/ Scholarship:
Fee shall be charged from the admitted candidates as per the fee structure of the concerned University. Candidates selected for admission are generally eligible for scholarship at the rates prescribed by the Dept. of Biotechnology.
Procedure for getting the form :

Entrance Examination will be held on 01.06.2010 (Tuesday). Application forms, complete in all respects, must reach AIIMS, New Delhi latest by 5.00 P.M. on 25.03.2010.
Eligibility Criteria:
(i) Candidates who have passed 12th class examination under 10+2 system or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English securing a minimum of 60% marks (50% in case of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates) aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English or whose results of Class-XII are likely to be declared by 7th July, 2010 are eligible to apply.

Eligibility:
Graduate (under 10 + 2 + 3) / Post-graduate in any discipline with 50% marks, from the University of Delhi or any other University recognised as equivalent there to. Students appearing in the final year of Bachelor's Degree examination in 2010 are eligible to appear in the Joint Admission Test. However, they should meet the above-mentioned eligibility requirements latest by September 15, 2010.
Note: The selected candidates must submit their final year results by September 15, 2010, failing which their admission will be automatically cancelled.
Candidates must ensure that they satisfy the above eligibility conditions before applying. If, at any stage of the admission process, a candidate is found ineligible, his/her application will be cancelled immediately – no queries/clarifications shall be entertained in this regard.
Reservation: The Department will follow University norms regarding reservation of seats for SC/ST, OBC, Physically Challenged candidates and Children/Widows of Officers and Men of the Armed Forces including Para- Military Personnel killed or disabled in action at wars. Selection Procedure: The short listing of the candidates for admission to the MFC and MBE programmes will be done on the basis of their performance in the Entrance Test which seeks to test the aptitude of the candidates for studies in business analysis and management. The Entrance Test will consist of multiple choice questions relating to English Comprehension and Verbal Ability, Analytical Reasoning, Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency, Quantitative Ability (covering Basic Arithmetic, Algebra, Calculus, Basic Statistics and Data Analysis) and Current Business Environment. The result of the entrance test is expected by April 2, 2010. The short listed candidates will be called for group discussion and personal interview. Candidates called for group discussion and interview shall bear travel and other incidental expenses themselves. In all cases, the decision of the Admission Committee shall be final.
Age: The candidate should have attained the age of 20 years on the 1st of October in the year in which admission is sought.
Fee payable: At present the MFC students are required to pay an annual fee of Rs. 11,500/- at the time of admission. Students selected to the MBE programme are required to pay an annual fee of Rs.11, 361/- The foreign students would have to pay an annual fee as per university rules. The fee may be revised from time to time by the University.

The admission Test will be held on Sunday, March 21, 2010 between 11.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m at Delhi, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Luck now and Mumbai. The University can change/cancel any test centre.

Indian Statistical Institute invites applications for the following programmes from the candidates having qualifications as shown against each programme. Stipend/Fellowship as mentioned against each programme will be available to the deserving candidates.
1. 5-year B.Stat. (Hons.): Successful completion of 10+2 years of Higher Secondary Education or equivalent with Mathematics and English. Stipend Rs. 800/- per month. (Offered at Kolkata).
2. 5-year B.Math. (Hons.): Successful completion of 10+2 years of Higher Secondary Education or equivalent with Mathematics and English. Stipend Rs. 800/- per month. (Offered at Bangalore).
Candidates for the above two programmes, who have successfully cleared the Indian National Mathematical Olympiad test, conducted by the National Board for Higher Mathematics, Department of Atomic Energy, Govt, of India, need not sit for the written test; such candidates would be directly called for interview. GPAT 2010 for M.Pharma Admissions on 2nd May, 2010
The scores in graduate aptitude test for engineers (GATE) have been in use till that year 2009 for admission in Master’s programme in Pharmacy (M.Pharma) and also for awarding fellowships/scholarships to Pharmacy graduate along with engineering graduates. The organizing committee for GATE has expressed its inability to include pharmacy graduates in GATE with effect from the year 2010, owing to operational problems due to large number of candidates appearing for GATE examination.

Therefore, in order to facilitate admission of Pharmacy graduates in M.Pharma as also to award fellowships/scholarships to Pharmacy graduates, AICTE has decided to organize to conduct an examination in the name of Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) with effect from academic year 2010-11. Accordingly, a National Monitoring Committee (NMC) was constituted for monitoring the issues pertaining to the policy as well as conduct of GPAT.
NMC, constituted by AICTE has recommended for conduct of 1st GPAT i.e. GPAT-2010 by the M.S. university of Baroda, Vadodara-390002, which has agreed to conduct the examination on May 02, 2010 throughout the country.

GPAT Exam Structure
The GPAT-2010 examination will consist of a single paper of 3 hours duration containing 100 questions carrying a maximum of 100 marks. The question paper will consist of only multiple choice objective-type questions. Each question will have four choices for the answer. The candidates will have to mark the correct choice on an Optical Response Sheet (ORS) by darkening the appropriate bubble against each question. There will be negative marking for each wrong answer that is 1/3 (one-third) mark will be deducted.
GPAT Examination: Examination will be similar to that of GATE 2009 Examination, where the candidate will mark the correct answer out of four options in an Optical Response Sheet (ORS) by darkening the appropriate bubble.

NEST QUESTION PAPER PATTERN
Question paper pattern: The question paper will consist of five sections totaling 200 marks: (1) General, (2) Biology, (3) Chemistry, (4) Mathematics, (5) Physics. The first (General) section is compulsory for all students and will carry 60 marks. Of the remaining four sections (2 – 5) the students will have to select any two, each of which will carry 70 marks. The questions will be aimed at testing the subject comprehension and analytic ability of the candidates. The questions will be of objective type with four options given for each question. Some questions may have more than one correct answer. For some questions in sections 2 to 5, incorrect answers will be awarded negative marks. Admission to first year of two year full time post graduate degree courses in Management namely Master of Business Administration (MBA) / Master of Management Studies (MMS) and Post Graduate Diploma Courses in Business Management (PGDBM)/Business Administration (PGDBA).

• Approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

1. Availability of Information Brochure alongwith Application Kit :
The Director of Technical Education, Maharashtra State, Mumbai continues the system of onlinereceipt of application form for MBA/MMS/PGDBM/PGDM for the year 2010-11.
• Information brochure alongwith the Application Kit for the aspiring candidates will be available at the identified post offices mentioned below during contact hours from 18/01/2010 to 02/02/2010 (excluding Public Holidays) against the payment of the application form processing fees.
• It is mandatory to procure the information brochure and go through it carefully. The CET that will be conducted in pursuance of this advertisement is subject to the rules and regulations set out in this information brochure. The further admission process, especially in respect of Private Unaided Institutes will be in terms of the clarification read with aforesaid rules and regulations.
• Submission of the application form in response to this advertisement will amount to accepting the afore said rules & regulations unequivocally by the applicant and upon such submission it will be presumed that the applicant agrees and accepts these rules & regulations as legal, valid and correct. It will not be open for any applicant, once having submitted the application form to question the legality, validity and correctness of these rules & regulations.

Submission and Confirmation of Online Application Form :

• For the submission and confirmation of the online Application Form the candidates are required to use the Application ID and Password provided in the Application Kit. Candidates are also required to upload his/her photo and signature as per the instructions given in the Application Kit. Candidates are advised to preserve the Application Kit carefully and not to disclose the Application ID & Password to others to avoid impersonation.
• In order to take the printout of the Online submitted Application form and the printout of the Hall Ticket for the CET, it is mandatory for all the candidates to confirm the Online submitted Application form and such applications only will be considered valid for further processing.

Law School Admission Test India (LSAT 2010 India)
The LSAT-India (Law School Admission Test - India) is a standardized test of reading and verbal reasoning skills designed by the USA based Law School Admission Council (LSAC) for use by law schools in India.
The LSAT—India will be administered across 16 Pearson VUE test centre locations in India and at select overseas Pearson VUE test centre locations on 16th May, 2010. The test will be administered in a paper and pencil format in India and in computer-based testing (CBT) mode at overseas locations.
LSAT INDIA Test Pattern
The LSAT—India is a paper-and-pencil test with four sections. Two of the sections contain logical reasoning questions; one section contains analytical reasoning questions; and one section contains reading comprehension questions. The amount of time allotted for each section is 35 minutes. There is one 15-minute break between section 2 and section 3. All questions are in a multiple-choice format, some with four answer choices and others with five. Answers are collected on a scannable answer sheet. The total duration of the test is 2 hours and 35 minutes including a break of 15 minutes.
The registration fee for the LSAT—India for candidates testing within India is Rs.3500. For candidates testing outside India, the registration fee is USD 150. The online registration window is from 25th January, 2010 to 19th April, 2010. On payment of an additional fee, candidates testing within India can register up to 30th April, 2010. Registration for the LSAT—India is online and can be done by submitting the form on the LSAT—India website. Payment for the registration by test takers in India can be done online (via credit card only) or through a demand draft. The Common Admission Test for Academic Admissions 2010 will be conducted on 8th and 9th of May 2010 at various test centers all over India.
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the various academic programmes of the University for the year 2010-11. Admissions are based on Common Admission Test (CAT)/ Departmental Admission Test (DAT) / Test for Lateral Entry (LET).
Only online registration will be considered for all academic programmes of the university except M.Phil, M.A. translation in German/Russian, Ph.D and diploma/certificate programmes.
Admission details, Eligibility conditions and other particulars will be available in the detailed Notification published in the website www.cusat.nic.in.
Candidates having the nativity status “Keralites” can apply only through OMR application form which can be had from selected branches of State Bank of Travancore whereas “Non-Keralites” should submit their application through “On-line” only.

The candidate should have secured a minimum of 60% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together, with at least 55% in Mathematics separately.
e. B.Tech in Marine Engg. **(Residential Programme)
(1) Pass in Plus Two or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as separate subjects with a PCM average of not less than 60% marks & minimum 50% for Mathematics and should have obtained 50% marks in English at 10th or 12th standards. For SC/ST candidates, no relaxation in qualification.
(2) Vocational/Diploma students are not eligible to apply.
(3) The Maximum age limit prescribed is 25 years as on 1st September 2009.

f. Admissions to the following M.Tech programmes are based on valid GATE score as prescribed under the academic regulations specific to each programme. Candidates not possessing GATE may also apply, but will be considered only if GATE qualified candidates are not available. In such cases, admissions will be based on the Departmental Aptitude Test (DAT).
M.Tech Atmospheric Science – (1) M.Sc degree or its equivalent in Meteorology, Oceanography, Mathematics, Physics, Space Physics with a First Class (60%) marks from any recognized university or institution. (2) A valid GATE score or a pass in the Joint UGC CSIR Test (NET) for JRF.
M.Tech Computer Aided Structural Analysis & Design – (1) B.Tech or Equivalent degree in Naval Architecture and Ship building/Civil Engg/Mechanical Engg with a first class (60%) marks from any recognized university or institution (2) A valid GATE score

M.Tech Polymer Technology – (1) B.Tech or equivalent degree/AMIE in Polymer Science and Rubber Technology/Chemical Engg/ Technology or MSc Polymer Chemistry/ MSc Chemistry with Polymer Chemistry as specialization with a first class (60%) marks from any recognized university or institution (2) A valid GATE score
M.Tech Software Engg – (1) B.Tech or equivalent degree or AMIE/AMIETE in Computer Science/Information Technology or M.Sc in Computer Software/ Operational Research and Computer Applications or MCA with a first class (60%) marks from any recognized university or institution (2) A valid GATE score
M.Tech (Part-time) Civil/Chemical/Mechanical Engineering* - (1) B.Tech/B.Sc Engineering Degree Examination in respective branch with a minimum of 50% marks (2) Minimum of 2 year experience in the concerned field after acquiring qualifying degree (*Cost sharing)
SC/ST candidates are eligible for admission to the courses mentioned under 2 above if they have pass marks in the qualifying examination and a valid GATE score (in the absence of GATE qualified candidates, candidates not possessing GATE will be considered). They are also entitled a concession of 5% marks in the written examination of the Departmental Admission Test (DAT).
