As the Medical CET’s Several States for admissions to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BPTh, BOTh & B.Sc-Nursing Courses are overlapping on 4th May 2008, on request of Students and Parents, for their convenience, Association of Managements of Unaided Private Medical and Dental Colleges of Maharashtra (AMUPMDC) has revised the Examination schedule of their Asso-CET 2008 as given below:

The Asso-CET 2008 is conducted for admission to 970 seats for MBBS, 1630 seats for BDS, 1675 seats for BAMS, 605 seats for Physiotherapy, 1095 seats for B. Sc (Nursing), 60seats for BOTh. Total 5975 Seats

All the health Science Colleges are affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik. All the Medical Colleges are approved by Medical Council of India, Dental Colleges by Dental Council of India and other Health Science Colleges by their respective Central Councils.

Application Forms are Available on payment of Rs. 500/- by DD in favour of "AMUPMDC" & Payable at Mumbai. The completed application Form should be accompanied by DD of Rs. 1,500/- in favour of "AMUPMDC" & Payable at Mumbai as Examination Fee.

for AICTE Approved Programmes MBA, MCA, and ME (Computer Science & Engineering)

Application are invited for admission to MBA, MCA, and ME (Computer Science & Engineering) courses offered in the University Departments for the academic year 2008-2009.

Any eligible candidate who is appearing for the final year UG degree examination during April / May 2008 can also apply.

Entrance Test:
Application seeking admission to MBA, MCA and ME courses are required to appear for the Tami Nadu common Entrance (TANCET - 2008) to be conducted by Anna University, Chennai.
Selection for the M.B.A programmes is based onthe TANCET-2008. Entrance Marks, Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
Selection for the MCA and ME programmes will be made by MS University based on the TANCET - 2008 entrance test marks. GATE candidates will be admitted directly to ME programme based on the GATE score. All the GATE candidates are eligible for AICTE PG scholarship.

Application Procedure:
1. Apply for the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test 2008 (TANCET) Conducted by Anna University for MBA, MCA and ME.
2. Application forms can be downloaded from www.msuniversitytvl.net
3. Application forms can also be obtained from the Registrar by remitting a Crossed Demand Draft drawn in favour of 'The Registrar, MS University, payable at 'Tirunelveli' for Rs. 300/- in person and Rs. 320/- by Post SC/ST Candidates to pay Rs. 150/- in person and Rs. 170/- by Post.
4. Application downloaded from the website must be submitted along with a crossed Demand Draft drawn in favour of 'The Registrar, MS University', payable at 'Tirunelveli' for Rs. 300/- SC/ST Candidates to pay Rs. 150/-
5. The SC/ST Candidates should produce attested Xerox copy of the Community Certificate along with requisition letter to obtain application.
6. Send a Photocopy of TANCET 2008 or GATE admit card along with the filled in application form.

All selected candidates in written test will be called for interview at Wardha. If the Number of applicants is less than the required, at any Center chosen by the candidate, the candidates of such centers have to appear for the written test at Wardha. Candidates will not be paid TA/DA for appearing in written examination.candidates selected on the basis of written examination will be called for interview at Wardha only. Written test and interview for Ph.D willbe conducted at Wardha centre only. There will not be any written test for admission to Diploma courses.
