Winter school- 2008 for faculty of science and engineering streams and other professionals.

Under a project funded by Ministry of communications and information technology (MCIT), Department of IT, GoI, it is proposed to conduct five days professional course during January 27-January 31, 2009 on “Geographical Information systems and their applications”. The objective is to train faculty and knowledge workers to use the latest tools like handheld GPS receiver, ERDAS software tool, Arc-view software tool etc.
Interested teachers and professionals may apply on the prescribed proforma latest by 31st December 2008.There are only limited number of seats for the course. So early applicants will get preference.

The Institute will support moderate boarding and lodging asnd training kit for the above course. Travelling expenses will be norne by institution of the participant or by himself/herself.
