Master of Science in Information Technology Admission 2010
Master of Science in Information Technology is the flagship programme offered by the Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management-Kerala and aims at high standards in basic and applied sciences, technology, management and information system. The programme focuses on a broad grasp of foundations in Computer Science and IT, deep understanding of the area of specialization, an innovative ability to solve new problems, and a capacity to learn continually and interact with trans-disciplinary groups. Extensive use of Technology Enhanced Learning methodologies together with Web based course management and on-line learning systems enriches the programme delivery and facilitate students to broaden their horizons.
Duration: The duration of the programme is 2 years full time. The courses are carefully designed to attain both technical and managerial aspects that enable them to grow into competent, seasoned professionals. There are 13 core courses spread across 3 semesters accumulating 48 credits. The 4th semester is for internship with 18 credits. Students are required to undergo an industry or research oriented project in any leading IT or R and D organization. Students are also required to take up two electives of 6 credits and the total requirement of credit is 72 for post graduation.
Eligibility: Entry-level requirement is a Bachelor’s degree in any branch of Engineering/ Technology/AMIE or Master’s Degree in Computer Science and Applications (MCA) with minimum score of 60 percentage marks or CGPA of above 6.5 out of 10 points, in the qualifying examination.
Number of Seats: The number of seats for the program is 60
Selection Criteria: Admissions are based on All India Admission Test and Interview. Candidates with valid GATE scores and those applying under NRI / Foreign National category are exempted from the admission test. The All India Admission test will be conducted at New Delhi, Kolkatta, Chennai, Hyderabad, Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi and Kannur. Those who qualify the test will be called for interview at IIITM-K, Thiruvananthapuram.
Application Fee: Rs. 750 (For General Category), Rs. 375 (For SC/ST Category) .
Mode of Payment : Demand Draft in favour of Director, IIITM-K, payable at any Nationalized bank in Trivandrum.
Course Fee : The course fee for the Master of Science in IT programme is Rs. 1,50,000/-. (For Indian Students) The fee is payable in four equal installments of Rs. 37,500/-.
How To Apply : On-line Application will commence on 05-04-2010. All disputes related to test / interview shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Courts in Kerala only. Appearance in the Test / interview or figuring in the Rank list does not ipso facto confer any right for admission to the programs unless found suitable as per the eligibility criteria as amended from time to time by CUSAT.

3. Important : The sale of application forms will commence at IIMC New Delhi and Dhenkanal branch from 29 March 2010. Application form/entrance examination for course No. 1, 2 is common. Arch. with CGPI of 6.75 on 10-point scale or equivalent or 60% marks in aggregate wherever marks are awarded.
The candidates appearing in the final examination of their bachelor program in 2010 can also apply, and if selected can join the program provisionally. Such candidates shall submit the CGPI/marks obtained till date.
Ph.D. in Engineering:
The applicant must have a Master degree in Engineering/Technology with marks/CGPI not below 60 % or 6.75 on a 10 point scale. Applicant with a Bachelor degree in Engineering or Masters Degree in Applied Science or any appropriate discipline with a minimum of 75%
marks / 8.0 CGPI with sufficient experience and publications can also apply.
Ph.D. in Architecture:
The applicant must have a Bachelors degree in Architecture and Master degree in Architecture/ Planning with marks/CGPI not below 60 % or 6.75 on a 10 point scale. For MBA: The applicant must have a Bachelor degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture or MCA with CGPI of 6.75 on 10 point scale or equivalent or 60% marks in aggregate wherever marks are awarded.

KLE University All India Entrance Test (KLEU-AIET-2010) for admission to the MBBS/BDS Courses at Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Belgaum and KLE V.K. Institute of Dental Sciences, Belgaum under the KLE Academy of Higher Education and Research, Belgaum, will be held from 2 pm to 5 pm 8th May (Saturday) at Belgaum, Bangalore, Pune, New Delhi, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Indore, Panjim, Chandigarh, Coimbatore, Kolkata, Jaipur, Guwahati, Tirupathi, Vijayawada, Cochin, Madurai, Chennai and Kottayam.
The test will have 200 multiple-choice questions of single best answer type with 50 questions each from Physics, Chemistry, Botany & Zoology. The questions will be based on the 10+2 syllabus followed by major 10+2 Boards/Universities. The detailed Syllabus is available at http://www.kleuniversity.edu.in. Each correct answer will get one mark. There is no negative marking.
Applicant should complete 17 years of age on or before the first day of December 2010 and should have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination PUC II/HSC or the Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE) or any other examination equivalent to 10+2/HSC examination of any recognized Board/University from any School/College situated in India/Abroad after 12 years of study and should have passed in Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English individually & must have obtained at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together in the qualifying examination. Candidate should also secure at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together at KLEU-AIET-2010 for admission to BDS course.
Those seeking admission to MBBS course should have scored 50% marks in English language and a minimum of 65% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in the qualifying examination. Those who have appeared for 12th/PUC II/ 10+2/ HSC/ equivalent examination and are awaiting their results may appear for entrance exam subject to their securing minimum 65% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together and 50% marks in English in the qualifying examination.
Those who are likely to appear or who have appeared for qualifying examination but whose results have not been declared can also appear for KLEU-AIET-2010, provided they have offered the above mentioned subjects at the said examination.
Applications who have been admitted to class 12th /PUCII/10+2/HSC/Equivalent earlier than April 2007, passed the same earlier than April 2008 are not eligible for apply. The seats reserved for SC/ST are only for those belonging to SC/ST category of Karnataka state. Eligibility criteria for students belonging to SC/ST category will be in accordance with rules framed by respective regulating councils. Details of reservation of seats can be seen in the Brochure.
The application form for admission to KLEU-AIET-2010 is common for MBBS/BDS courses. No separate form is prescribed for any particular course or college. Application can be submitted online at http://www.kleuniversity.edu.in/otherpgten/index.html till 17th April 2010. A copy of 'online' submitted application form must be printed and sent along with a Processing fee of Rs. 1500/- by way of DD favouring 'Registrar, KLE University', payable at Belgaum, Karnataka along with necessary documents.
Those who do not wish to submit application form online may obtain the application form along with a Brochure by sending a processing fee of Rs.2000/- by way of DD favouring 'Registrar, KLE University', payable at Belgaum.

MBBS/BDS/B.Sc Nursing/Bachelor of Physiotherapy Admissions 2010-2012
Christian Medical College, Ludhiana has invited applications for admission to the MBBS/BDS/B.Sc Nursing/Bachelor of Physiotherapy courses at the Institute for 2010. There are 50 seats for MBBS, 40 for BDS, 60 for B.Sc. Nursing and 20 for Bachelor of Physiotherapy.
Admission to UG courses will be based on merit obtained in the Under Graduate Admission Written Test (UG-AWT-2010) to be conducted by Christian Medical College Ludhiana Society from 2 pm to 4.30 pm, on 23rd May 2010, at Allahabad, Amritsar, Bathinda, Calcutta, Chandigarh, Chennai, Kochi, Ludhiana, Mumbai, Nagpur and New Delhi. Candidates should report to the allotted Centre by 1.30 pm. Bible Test for Christian applicants will be held from 4.45 pm to 5.15 pm, on the same day. All Christian applicants need to remain seated after the UG-AWT-2010 till 5.20 pm.
Applicants must be citizen of India. Persons of Indian Origin with Citizenship of other countries may apply under NRI category for which a separate Prospectus is available. No other Foreign National will be admitted.
Applicants must be at least 17 years of age on 31st December 2010. Those born after 31st December 1993 are not eligible to apply for admission to Undergraduate courses starting in July 2010.Applicant for admission to MBBS and BDS courses must have obtained not less than 50% marks in English and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together at the qualifying examination, as per MCI Regulations 1997.
For admission to B.Sc. Nursing and BPT courses, applicant must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in 10+2 examination. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/Backward Classes need only 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in qualifying examination.
All MBBS, BDS, and B.Sc. Nursing candidates selected through UG AWT 2010 in any category, are required to enter into a service agreement without which admission will not be granted. Service Agreement is for a minimum period of two years after completion of the course in a hospital or in an institution managed by Christian Medical College Ludhiana Society or its member Body/Church.
Candidates who desire to apply under the Christian sponsored category should indicate the fact in the ICR form and will have to take a Bible Test.
