Eligibility Requirements for Instructors Rating:
* Be at least 18 years of age
* Be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language
* Commercial Pilot certificate with an instrument rating or Airline Transport Pilot certificate
* Aircraft category and class rating appropriate to the instructor rating
* At least 15 hours pilot in command experience in the appropriate aircraft
* Training applicable to the flight instructor rating being sought
* A logbook endorsement from an instructor

» Swimming (Survival) course : Mandatory part of the training where you will learn to swim in order to save yourself as well as the lives of the passengers.

» In flight Service Training in Aircraft (Mock) Simulator Training : Part of the practical training where you will be trained in all the functions that you would be required to perform in actual daily routine on a flight including preparing for landing & taking off, safety features & equipment, handling emergencies.

Federal Institute of Science And Technology (FISAT), in Ernakulam District, a self financing Engineering College, affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam has invited applications for the BTech/MCA Degree courses under Management Quota for the Academic year 2010 -14 and 2010-13 respectively :
a) B.Tech courses for the Academic year 2010-2014 are offered in the following branches

b) MCA for academic year 2010-13: Candidates with a pass in recognized regular Bachelor's Degree course of minimum 3 years duration in any discipline with Mathematics at 10+2 level OR a pass in any recognized regular Bachelors Degree course of minimum 3 years duration in any discipline with mathematics as one of the subjects, with not less than 55% marks excluding languages, are eligible to apply. (Those who are awaiting final year result can also apply). It is mandatory for the candidates to appear in the Entrance examination for MCA conducted by Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE), Govt. of Kerala.

Selection is purely based on merit and 50% of the seats are allotted from the Entrance examination for MCA conducted by Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE), Govt. of Kerala.
