Air Hostess (Cabin Crew) Diploma Admission 2010

Duration : 10 Months + internship (4hours daily Monday to Friday)

Eligibility :
HSC Passed (10 + 2)
Minimum Age: not less than 17 years and not more than 23 years.
Height Minimum 5 ft 2 in for girls, 5 ft 6 in for boys.
Unblemished skin, dental features normal, reasonable level of fluency in English.
Admission Procedure : Admission subject to passing an aptitude test and on the basis of personal interview/screening.

» Aviation : Embarkation & Disembarkation, Traffic Documents Check, Food & Beverage, Flight Announcements, Galleys, Storage Lockers, Flight Emergencies, Hijacking.

» Hospitality : Hotel Terminology, Food & Beverage (F&B), Front & Back Office, Housekeeping, Room Service, Registration & Reservation Formalities, Handling Complaints.

» Basic English + Speaking : Learning proper English, Grammar, Reading skills, Speech & Articulation, Role Play, Comprehension, Public Speaking & Presentation involving assignments, Feedback & Corrective action.

» Grooming : Hygeine, Make-up, Attire, Clothes, Accessories, Colour, Appearance, Diet & Health.

» Travel Management : Geography – Countries, Cities, Airports, Capitals, Codes, Currency, Travel Documents, TIM, Health Care and Travel Insurance, Hotels, Car Rental, Packaged and Individual Tours, Time Theory, Planning Itinerary, OAG Flight Guide, Airport & Aircraft Services, International Conventions, Freedoms of the air, International Organisations, Customer Service, Fare Construction – TC Areas & Sub-Areas, Global Indicators, Fare Selection Criteria, Types of Journey, One Way & Return Journeys, Special/Promotional/Mass Fares.

» Computerized Reservation System (GALILEO) : Electronic means of booking flights, making Reservation and creating Passengers PNR & calculating best fares, Queue Management, Special and Other Service Requests, Hotel & Car Booking.

» Soft Skills (Personality Development, Time Management, Communication Skills, Telephone Etiquette, Interview Skills & Group Discussion) : Courses which will culminate in developing your personality and character building, create leadership qualities, raise your confidence, improve your efficiency and fine tune your communication skills to handle customers and handle emergency situations in an effective manner

» First Aid (Survival) course : In order to attend to the injured or sick passenger, elementary knowledge of First Aid is an essential and mandatory requirement. Trained Medical Personnel will impart this training in how to deal with medical emergencies during flight.

» Swimming (Survival) course : Mandatory part of the training where you will learn to swim in order to save yourself as well as the lives of the passengers.

» In flight Service Training in Aircraft (Mock) Simulator Training : Part of the practical training where you will be trained in all the functions that you would be required to perform in actual daily routine on a flight including preparing for landing & taking off, safety features & equipment, handling emergencies.

Evaluation & Certification : Based on Class Performance , Class Tests , Group Discussion , Mock Interviews & Tel Etiquette simulation , Projects/Assignments and on nearly cent percent attendance.

Placements : Successful candidates will be assisted in placement with Airlines
