Advanced Management Programme AMP, Admissions 2011-2012


The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta has invited applications for enrolling for Advanced Management Programme commencing on September 12, 2011. The Programme is designed for top/senior level executives and decision makers of both public and private sector enterprises who assume or likely to assume corporate/board level responsibilities.

This Programme will help senior executives to:
1. Acquire a wider perspective of the multidimensional context for doing business;
2. Create a strategic vision that would enable them to develop structured responses to an unpredictable and dynamic technological and business environment;
3. Analyze emerging opportunities, available resources and the effectiveness of organizational structures, systems and processes;
4. Formulate and implement corporate policies to gain competitive advantage.

AMP 2011 will be in two modules. Nominations can be sent either for both the Modules or for only the first Module (Module-I).
Module-I: Two week On-Campus Programme.
Venue: Management Development Centre, Tata Hall, IIM Calcutta, Joka, Kolkata.
Duration: September 12 – 23, 2011.

Module-II: Foreign Study Tour at Germany, Switzerland, France and Italy
Duration: November 13– 27, 2011.

The Graduate Diploma in Materials Management is recognized by the Central Government (Department of Education), Ministry of HRD, for the purpose of recruitment to superior posts and services under the Central Government. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Textile Management (SVPITM), Coimbatore, has invited applications for admissions to the following PGDM/PGCM courses in Textiles/ Apparel (4 Semesters) for the academic year 2011-12.

Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Textiles)
Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Apparel)
Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Retail Management)
Post Graduate Certificate in Management (Home Textiles)

Any degree holder who has appeared for CAT/MAT/JCCAT/TANCET etc are eligible to apply. For those who has not appeared for the said exams will have to undergo the written examination being conducted by SVPITM. Selection will be based on Group Discussion and Interview.

Application forms are available from the Office of SVPITM, Coimbatore on payment of Rs.400/- (Rs.300/- for SC/ST) by cash or Rs.450/- as Demand Draft taken in favour of "Director, SVP Institute of Textile Management", payable at Coimbatore through post.



Applications can also be downloaded from the website www.svpitm.ac.in (link: http://www.svpitm.ac.in/application.php ); the submission of the same has to be supported by DD for Rs.450 as specified above.

Filled in applications are to reach the Office of Director, SVPITM, 1483, Avanashi Road, Peelamedu, Coimbatore - 641004 on or before 11-07-2011.
