Direct Admission (Lateral Entry) to second year (for Diploma Holders and BSC Graduates)
For admission to second year( lateral entry) of B Tech, the candidate must have passed three years Diploma in Engineering course, securing minimum 60% marks in aggregate or three years BSc degree with Mathematics as one subject, securing minimum 60% marks in aggregate. Such candidates are also required to appear in the specified paper of entrance examination.
Such seats are limited to a maximum of 10% in addition to the sanctioned intake in different courses at first year level.
State Entrance Examination:-
The admissions to the B.Tech First year would be made on the basis of State Entrance Examination (SEE) conducted by Central Admission Board (CAB), Mahamaya Technical University, Noida.
15% Management Quota seats are filled directly by the Institute by conducting Institute's level counseling based strictly on the merit of SEE & AIEEE rank in presence of Govt. nominee.
Selection Criteria:-
The admission to 75% of the total seats would be made through State level counselling conducted by UP Technical University, Lucknow. The counseling is done on the basis of Merit List, in the order of ranks obtained in SEE –MTU. These seats will be filled by the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from any institution located in U.P. or whose parents are domicile of U.P. A candidate will be eligible for Admission to Post-Graduate Courses if he/she has completed B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. with 10+2+3 system from any University recognized by University Grants Commission and has secured a minimum 45% of marks at graduate level. However for SC/ST candidates minimum pass percentage of marks will be 40%.
The admission to the Post-Graduate Courses in the faculties of Arts, Science, Commerce and Education shall be on the basis of merit of marks obtained in the Graduation/Qualifying Examination.
A candidate will be eligible for admission to LL.M. course if he/she has secured a minimum of 50% marks at Law Graduate level. However for SC, ST candidates, the minimum percentage of marks will be 48%.

Steps for Online Submission:
Step 1:
Generate Bank Challan : Click on the link "Generate Bank Challan" to start the registration process.
Form fee is Rs. 800.00 per course for general and OBC candidates and Rs. 400.00 per course for SC/ST candidates.
Enter all the required information to Generate Bank Challan.
Candidates can select upto five courses in a single form. There is no need to generate bank challan for each course.
Print the Challan.
Step 2:
Go to any Branch of State Bank Of India and deposit the fee amount.
Bank will retain its copy and return the other two copies meant for the Student and University, duly stamped.
Bank will also provide with a unique code number called the Journal Number.
Step 3
Complete further formalities regarding Registration From Submission after depositing the application fee at the State Bank of India.

Eligibility: Eligibility for MBA:-
A three-year bachelor's degree (10+2+3) or equivalent in any discipline from recognized University with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA. Students appearing in the final examination of a Bachelor's degree can also apply.
Selection Process: Candidates short listed on the basis of their performance in the different components of Entrance Test will be called for group discussion and personal interview. The final selection to the programme would be based on the candidate's performance in the written test, group discussion, personal interview and work experience.
Eligibility for PhD:-
Masters degree or equivalent in relevant subject from any recognized University in India or abroad scoring not less than 55 % marks or 6.0/10 CGPA in aggregate.
Selection Procedure:
All candidates will have to appear in the Entrance Test and Interview process to be administered by the University.
Candidates who have passed NET/SET/GATE/JRF/M.Phil. Or are UGC/CSIR/NBHM fellows will be exempted from the entrance test. However, such candidates shall have to go through the presentation and interview process.
Eligibility for BTech:-
(10+2) or its equivalent from a recognized Board with at least 50% marks or equivalent in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Selection Process:
- Candidates short listed on the basis of their performance in the different components of Entrance Test will be called for personal interview/counseling. The final selection would be based on the candidate's performance in the written test, personal interview/ counseling.
Eligibility for MTech:-

The application procedure for admission consists of two steps:
1. Written Test
The Written Test JKLU-PGEET, to be conducted at Jaipur on June 26, 2011. The candidates who have appeared in GATE or any other equivalent competitive examination will be exempted from appearing in JKLU-PGEET.
2. Application Form
Aspirants are required to fill in the application form of the Institute of Engineering and Technology of the University.
