Eligibility: Students possessing first class graduation degree pursuing Post Graduation/high second class post-graduation degree (with at least 55 per cent marks) pursuing research courses in Economics/ Finance/ Management at National Schools of Economics/Central Universities/Recognised Financial/Economic Institutions/Recognised National Management Institutes can apply for internship.
Students with at least 80 per cent marks in 12th Standard pursuing five year integrated course in Law (only in fourth and fifth year of study) from the National Law Schools at Bangalore, Bhopal, Hyderabad and Kolkata are also eligible.
Duration: Duration of internship will be two months at different points of time during a year (other than December to February).
Token remuneration: Token remuneration @ Rs 5,000 per month per intern, payable at the end of the internship.

ABOUT MBA PROGRAMME AT MEPCO
The Department of Management Studies had started in the year 1994 and with the approval of AICTE. The MBA is a two year full time management programme affiliated to Anna University, Chennai, with a intake of 60 students per batch. The two year full time MBA programme has 4 semesters. The first two semesters of this programme, the students are exposed to the basics of general management underlying different operational functions of corporate management through core subjects. And in third and fourth semester the students can choose electives suitable to their personal interest leading to specialization in any functional area of management like, Finance, Marketing, HRD and Systems. And also the training/project summer placement at the end of second semester. The fourth semester, there will be a main project and completing the second semester, the students are placed in industrial and professional enterprises for practical training with a view to get them exposed to corporate realities and try their hand in assisting the management in their various decisions. This college provides ample scope to understand the intricacies of management in the real life situation. There will be Industrial visits to get the students exposed to corporate environments. And also the department conducts many seminar programmes by inviting the management practitioners from various professional and business organizations to share the ideas and experiences with the aspiring managers in order to strengthen the awareness and enrich their knowledge to fit them into the demanding business world. The salient features of this programme are the participative learning through group discussions, role play, case studies, brainstorming sessions, stress management programmes, and performance in simulated business environment through business games, and sharing the ideas and experiences among students and expert academicians.
