Executive Program in Applied Finance - IIM Calcutta: Executive Management Programs- Enrollment January 2008

This Program is aims to provide cutting edge knowledge in the frontiers of finance using latest pedagogy to develop brilliant finance minds. The Program is designed to provide training in the techniques and nuances in finance expected of a successful professional in the corporate sector, banks, and financial institutions.

Who is eligible to attend?
Finance professionals in the corporate sector with more than two years’ relevant experience, seeking to develop their careers in Corporate Finance will find this program most useful. Executives in the Banking and Financial Services sectors will find this program beneficial before taking on specialised responsibilities. Professionals who have just completed their studies in Finance, Commerce or Accountancy, will add recent advanced concepts and application areas to their knowledge-base. The program would also be relevant for professionals working (or planning to work) as broking/security analyst,consultants, and chartered/cost accountants.

Eligibility Criteria and Selection Process: Graduates (10+2+3 or equivalent) in any discipline with 50% marks, who would like to build their career in finance. Preference will be given to graduates with at least two years of work experience, preferably in finance, accounting or related functions. Students would be selected on the basis of their performance in the Program Aptitude Test to be conducted by NIIT Imperia, together with assessment of background and motivation based on the application form submitted.

Common Application and Selection Process: There is a Common Application and Selection Process for students applying for any number of Programs. All candidates need to complete the Common Application Form (CAF) as the first step in the admission process.
Fees and Payment Schedule
Program Fees: Rs 1,70,000/-. The fees above are inclusive of all academic charges, including initial services, examinations, text-books and study material. An additional amount of Rs 1500/-day is payable towards boarding & lodging during the intensive workshop at IIM Calcutta. All fees are non-refundable.Payments are to be made to NIIT Imperia, by cash, cheque, demand draft, credit/debit card, ECS or EFT. A deferred payment facility exists with the following schedule:

A Customized Education Loan scheme has been worked by NIIT Imperia with Leading Banks in order to enable students to pursue these programs. The scheme is innovatively designed to enable working executives to spread out the repayment.
