Pre-Veterinary Entrance Examination 2008

The Veterinary Council of India (VCI), New Delhi, has invited applications for the All-India Pre-Veterinary Entrance Test to he held on May 10, 2008 ( 2 pm to 5 pm) for admission to the 15 per cent merit seats in B.VSc. and AH course being offered by various veterinary colleges in India.

Those who have passed Plus-Two/equivalent examination with English, Physics, chemistry and biology, and with 50 percent marks (40 per cent marks is sufficient for SC/ST) are eligible to apply. Those who are appearing for the final qualifying examination are also eligible to apply.

The candidates should have completed 17 years as on December 31, 2008. B.Sc. holders who have studied physics, chemistry, botany/zoology with 50 marks are also eligible to appear for the entrance test. Application forms and the information bulletin can be obtained by furnishing a demand draft for Rs.700/- (Rs.350/- for SC/ST) drawn in favour of Veterinary Council of India Examination Fund, payable at New Delhi. Online application facilities are also provided through the website: www.vci.nic.in
