POST GRADUATE DEGREE (2 years)
M.Tech. in Plastics Technology - at Chennai in affiliation with Anna University, at Bhubaneswar in affiliation with Biju Patnaik University of Technology, at Lucknow in affiliation with U.P. Technical University, at Hajipur in affiliation with Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur.
Eligibility: 4 years degree B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Chemical/Production/Polymer Engg. or M.Sc. in Polymer Science/Chemistry with Polymer specialization.
Max. Age: 35 years.
UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMME (4 years)
*B.Tech in Plastics Technology - at Chennai in affiliation with Anna University, at Bhubaneswar in affiliation with Biju Patnaik University of Technology, at Lucknow in affiliation with U.P. Technical University.
Eligibility: 10+2 or equivalent with Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry.

1. Plastics Engineering (PGD-PE) (1 year)
Eligibility: B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc. Engg (4 yrs) in Mech/Chem/ Production/Polymer/Tool Engg./Electrical & Electronics/Instrumentation/Petrochemical/Electrical/Mechatronics or equivalent.
Max. Age: 26 years.
2. CAD/CAM for Plastics Engineering(PGD-Cad PE) (1 year)
Eligibility: B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc. Engg (4 yrs) in Mech/Chem/ Production/ Polymer/Tool Engg. Max. Age: 26 years.
3. Plastics Processing & Testing (PGD-PPT) (1½ years)
Eligibility: 3 year Degree in Science with Chemistry as one of the subjects
Max. Age: 24 years.
POST DIPLOMA (1 year)
1. CAD/CAM for Plastics Mould Design (PG-Cad PMD)
Eligibility: 3 year Diploma in Mechanical/Plastics/Chemical Technology/Tool/Production Engineering/Mechatronics/Automobile Engineering/Tool & Die making/CIPET DPMT or equivalent. Max. Age: 24 years.
2. Machine Maintenance (PD-MM)
Eligibility: 3 year Diploma in Mechanical/Plastics/Electrical & Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering/Tool & Die making/ CIPET DPMT or equivalent.
Max. Age: 24 years.
DIPLOMA/POST DIPLOMA - INTEGRATED PROGRAMME (3/4 years)
1. Plastics Mould Technology (DPMT/PD-PMT)**
2. Plastics Technology (DPT/PD-PT)
Eligibility: 10th std. with Maths, English and Science***.
Max. Age: 18 years. The candidates will have the choice to opt for 3/4 years Diploma or Post Diploma at the time of admission.
Lateral entry for candidates having Diploma in Mechanical/Plastics/Chemical Tech./Tool/Production/Mechatronics/Automobile/Tool & Die Making is permissible in fifth semester.

Note: Candidates appearing for the entry qualification examination and awaiting results may also apply. Age limit is relaxable upto 5 years for applicants sponsored by Industries, SC/ST category and applicants form North Eastern Region.
HOW TO APPLY:
Information brochure can be obtained form any of CIPET centres by remitting a registration fee of Rs.400/- with a self addressed envelope size of 35cm x 25cm stamped for Rs.50/- by post or in person.
MODE OF PAYMENT:
By cash or crossed demand draft drawn in favour of "Director General, CIPET" payable at Chennai on any nationalized bank dated not earlier than 01.03.2008.
