Application are invited for one year Marine Engineering Pre-sea Training course at GRSE(ISO 9001-2000 & CARE accredited unit with state-of –the art simulator facility) for session March 2009 under M.O.T. Class IV, Part *A* scheme. Graduate in B.E./B.Tech(Mechanical)from AICTE approved Engineering colleges with 50% (min)marks in engineering graduation and English ast 10th/12th or in diploma /Degree course conducted by Board or University, Age not exceeding 25 years as on 01.03.2009 (born after 01.03.84, age relaxation for sc&st candidates as per prevailing Govt.Rule)
Are eligbible to take admission for the training. Candidastes shall be physically fit by DGS appreoved doctor as per M.S.Rules. The address of D.G.approved doctors in different cities are available ast D.G.Shipping website www.dgshipping.com 4STCW Basic modular courses (FPFF, EFA, PSSR & PST) will be arranged by GRSE at IIPM, Kolkatta. Application with full Bio-Data duly signed indicating name of the college and university. Division place and percentage of masks obtained in Engr.degree indicating details calculation (marks obtained/full marks)including attested copies of age proof from school/board, mark sheet of 10th,12th std. or diploma, all semester of degree course. AICTE for approval of course of the college, Police verification certificate of the candidate from permanent address area, caste certificate from competent authority. The attested copy of documents/testimonials of the candidate should reach on or before 31st December 2008 to C.G.M/ (TTC) along with a DD of Rs.1000/- as application fee from any bank in favor of Garden reach shipbuilders and engineers ltd. Payable at kolkatta.
Admission will be made as per DG Shipping Guidelines and 50 candidates will be admitted In case of availability of seats, the candidates may be admitted unto 21st Februaryy 2009. Subject to fulfillment of all the criteria for admission and ass first come first serve basis against availability of seats. Training fees Rs.100000/-inclusive of all taxes and duties (non-residential. on refundable) for one year course to be paid through DD in favor of Garden Reach shipbuilders and engineers ltd; on any bank payable at kolkata on selection of the candidates at the time of joining. Fees for Basic modular course, obtaining CGC, INDOS no & cost of TAR Book and Training Manual will be borne by candidate seprarately.

Training certificate on successful completion of training will be awarded to the each candidate “ The successful completion of this course does not guarantee on board training, which is mandatory for employment”.
