JIPMER entrance test

admission to the M.D., M.S. and postgraduate diploma courses for the April 2009 session.

Jawaharlal Institue of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry, has invited applications for its entrance examination to be held on February 15, 2009 at Puducherry for admission to the M.D., M.S. and postgraduate diploma courses for the April 2009 session.

MBBS degree holders who have completed their internship or will be completing their internship by March 31, 2009 are eligible to apply. Applicants should be resident Indians.

Applications can be submitted online through the web site www.jipmer.edu from December 1 to 31, 2008. An application fee of Rs.1000 (Rs.800 for candidates belonging to scheduled castes and scheduled Tribes) should be paid through a demand draft drawn in favor of Accounts Officer, JIPMER payable ast any nationalized bank in Puducherry. A print out of the online application form with the candidates signature and photographs and the demand draft should be sent through speed post to the professor (Academic) JIPMER, Puducherry, so as to reach the address before January 6, 2009 (before 4 p.m.)
