Admission notification for M.Phil and Ph.D
Applications are invited for admission to Ph.D. and M.Phil programme in English, Economics and Political Science based on new Ph.D./M.Phil regulations (available on UGC website). Classes and course work will be conducted primarily from the temporary premises of Central University of Haryana located at B.Ed. College, Narnaul.
Selection is through entrance test and personal interview based specifically on submission of statement of purpose/ research proposal. The application form along with relevant information etc. can be downloaded from the website www.cuharyana.org. Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PH will be as per rules of Govt. of India/UGC. The filled in application form, complete in all respects along with requisite fee of Rs. 350/- (Rs. 250/- in case of OBC and Rs. 150/- in case of SC/ST/PH) through DD favouring central university of Haryana payable at Gurgaon and duly supported with a synopsis of 300 words in which the scholar will carry his/her research, should reach Vice Chancellor, Central University of Haryana, 3113, opposite T-25/B, DLF Phase-III, Sector-24, Gurgaon-122010 Haryana by 09th September, 2009.
Incomplete application or application received beyond the scheduled date shall be summarily rejected and University will not be responsible for any postal delay.
The date and venue of entrance examination as also interview will be displayed on website www.cuharyana.org on 14th September 2009 along with the list of short listed candidates. The candidates are advised to refer to the website and report for entrance examination and interview on the stipulated dates and time at the designated venue. The University may not offer the programme if adequate support is not possible for certain areas and subjects. The decision of the University will be final in this regard.
