Amrita offers MCA at four campuses — Amritapuri, Coimbatore, Kochi and Mysore. In the latter two campuses, Kochi and Mysore, MCA is offered by the Schools of Arts and Sciences. Emphasizing the design and application of information systems, MCA provides students with a solid background in business functions. Latest developments in areas where commerce and technology blend together successfully to define the state-of-the-art are covered.

The curriculum enables students to acquire strength in principles, concepts and foundations of computer science, information technology and various applications. They will also gain extensive programming / software development experience over a wide variety of platforms and applications. The curriculum explicitly includes lab components for every course that helps students understand implementation principles.
Eligibility: Candidates with a BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications) or with any other degree of three years duration in any discipline, with Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects, from a recognized university, with an aggregate of minimum 60% marks may apply.

Admission Procedure: Admission is based on performance in the entrance examination conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham and a subsequent interview.
