Sc. degree with Chemistry / Botany / Zoology / Microbiology as a Principal subject and any two of the following as subsidiary subjects - Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Agriculture, Botany Seed Plant, Biochemistry and Plant Protection. However, one of the three subjects must be chemistry and one must be Botany or Zoology or Microbiology. OR B.Tech or B. Chem. Engg. or equivalent degree with biology at least at Std. XII. Eligibility: Bachelor's Degree in Science of this University or any other statutory University recognized as equivalent thereto, in the subject concerned, However, general B. Sc. Students need not apply. (From the academic year 1999-2000 Semester System is introduced to M. Sc. Course) Admission will be given to that subject which has been offered by the student at Principal level of the B. Sc. course. Subsidiary subject at the B. Sc. Degree may be considered for admission if the student has obtained at least 50% marks in that subject.
Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of marks obtained at the Special/Principal subjects offered at the B. A./B. Sc. examination. The merit list of the M.A./M. Sc.
