The Don Bosco Advanced Diploma

Objective:  The course will enable participants to work as a counsellor in various settings (mental health centres, schools, colleges, hospitals, private practice) 

The course stresses hands on practice. It will include:

Practicum Based Training in Skills in Counselling

Supervision for Work Done with Clients

Self Work Required To Be An Effective Helper

Modules On -  Client Centered Therapy, Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy, Transactional Analysis,  Reality Therapy, Somatic Therapy, Art Therapy,  Family Therapy, Career Guidance, Group Therapy 

Duration - 9 months (July - March )

Twice a week - (Tuesday, Friday, 5.30 pm- 8.30 pm )

Eligibility - Master's in Psychology / Human Development/

      Human Resource/Social Work/ subject giving insight into human behaviour

-          Bachelor's in any of the above mentioned subjects with minimum 5 years of work experience
