ADMISSION TO
M.Sc. FIVE YEAR INTEGRATED DEGREE PROGRAMME


Applications are invited for admission to Five year Integrated Degree Programme in (1) M.Sc. (Computer Science)/ M.Sc. (Information Technology) and M.Sc. Electronic Media offered at College of Engineering Guindy Campus, Anna University Chennai, for the Academic year 2008-2009. Selection is based on H.Sc. marks.

ELIGIBILITY:
(1) M.Sc. (Computer Science)/ M.Sc. (Information Technology)
A pass in the H.Sc. (Academic) or equivalent in the first appearance itself, with Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry as three of the four subjects of study prescribed under Part III with minimum eligibility marks.

(2) M.Sc. (Electronic Media)
A pass in the H.Sc. of 10+2 curriculum of any group under Part III (or) its equivalent.

AGE LIMIT:
The candidate shall not have completed 21 years of age as on 1st July 2008. The age restriction is relaxable by 3 years for SC/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu.

APPLICATION CAN BE OBTAINED:
In Person: By cash or DD for Rs.600/- (Rs.300/- for SC/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu) towards registration fee at Examination Centre, Anna University Chennai, Chennai 600025.

By Post: By sending DD for Rs.650/- (Rs.350/- for SC/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu) (including postal charges) along with a requisiotn letter and a self-addressed slip to be Director (Admissions), Anna University Chennai, Chennai-600025.

Through Website: Application form can be downloaded form the website: www.annauniv.edu/msc5years and send it along with DD for Rs.600/- (Rs.300/- for SC/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu)

Tamil Nadu SC/ST candidates should produce copy of the Community Certificate for availing registration fee concessions.

All Demand Drafts should be drawn in favour of “The Director (Admissions). Anna University Chennai”, payable at Chennai obtained form any Nationalized bank on or after 01.06.2008.

Completed application form should be sent to the Director (Admissions), Examination Centre, Anna University Chennai, Chennai-25 on or before 16.05.2008 by 5.00 PM.

Commencement of issue of application form: 02-06-2008
Last Date for issue and submission of filled in application in person and by post: 16-06-2008.
