POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN MANAGEMENT (PGDM) 2008-2010 – Two Year Residential Programme. It is approved by AICTE, New Delhi.

The Institute invites applications from the candidates who have appeared in Common Admission Test (CAT) 2007/GMAT.
LAST DATE FOR ISSUE & RECEIPT OF COMPLETED FORMS: 15th January 2008.

Specialisation Offered:
Marketing, Finance, HRM, Systems and Operations. Students can specialize in any stream or opt for dual specialization.
PGDM - Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM)
Eligibility:
Applicants should have at least a three-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline from any recognised college by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) / Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with minimum 50% aggregate marks in degree examination. Those appearing for their final year Bachelor's degree examination in April / May 2008 may also apply, provided they complete their degree final examination and meet other requirements before the commencement of the course in the first week of June 2008. They should submit degree certificate / provisional pass certificate and marks sheets latest by 31st October 2008.
Selection Process:
1. Appear for the Common Admission Test (CAT) to be conducted by Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) on 18th November 2007 all over India. Simultaneously apply to SDM Institute for Management Development, Mysore (SDM-IMD, Mysore). 3. Based on performance in CAT, previous academic records, applicants will be called for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) in January - March 2008. 4. Final selection will be made based on the composite scores of performance in CAT, previous academic records, relevant work experience (if any) and performance in GD and PI.
NRI and foreigners with a minimum valid GMAT score of 550 out of 800 may directly apply to SDM-IMD.
Other Details: 1. Total Intake is 120 students per batch 2. Program is mandatory residential.
How to get Application Form:
Application forms can be obtained from the institute in person or by post by paying Rs. 1,350/- (Rupees One Thousand Three Hundred and Fifty only) in Cash or Demand Draft (DD should be drawn in favour of SDM Institute for Management Development, Mysore, payable at Mysore).

Important Instructions to download the application form:
Down load the application form by clicking the below given hyperlink. Take the printout of the same on A4 size 80 GSM paper (back to back) and fill-it up as per the instructions given in the application form. You need to send the completely filled-in application form along with a crossed DD of Rs. 1,350/- (Rupees One Thousand Three Hundered and Fifty only) drawn in favour of SDM Institute for Management Development, Mysore, payable at Mysore. You need to leave blank the application number column. On receipt of your application, the institute will allocate an application number and intimate the same to you. You should quote that application number for any future communication. The institute will also send the institute brochure along with the acknowledgement.
Send your application form, DD, and all the documents as mentioned in the application form to the Institute address (for address refer application form) in the name of "The Chairman - Admissions" through reliable courier/registered post/speed post only. Please note that you need to send all in a big size cover and also mark "Application Form for PGDM 2008-10 Batch" on the top of the cover without fail. Do not keep more than one application form in the envelope.
Instructions for Candidates: The candidate may note that his / her application would be summarily rejected if the application is incomplete in any respect, specifically if documents supporting qualifications are not provided, any mandatory field is left blank, the form is not signed, photograph is not attached or the candidate fails to meet the eligibility criteria. No corrections will be permitted after submission of the application form. However, in case a candidate identifies any mistakes in the submitted form, he / she may buy and submit a fresh form duly filled in.
Candidates buying the SDM-IMD application form from any coaching centres should submit the application form along with the copy of the receipt to the Institute. SDM-IMD application forms once sold, will not be taken back and no claims of refund of application fee will be entertained. SDM-IMD would not be held responsible for non-delivery or postal delays incase of SDM-IMD application form sent by the speed / registered post / courier and / or non-delivery or postal delays in receipt of completed SDM-IMD application form.

Applications have to be obtained from the authorized institutions listed above and from SDM-IMD, Mysore only. This Instiute have no branches and all admissions are through SDM-IMD, Mysore only.
