Training in 'C' Programming Language Aptitute offered by private institutions was often costly and it was essential for getting good placements. The Delhi University Medical-Dental Entrance Test (DUMET-2008) for admission to Under-Graduate courses, i.e. MBBS and BDS will be held on Sunday, 18th May, 2008 at Delhi. Interested candidates may apply on the prescribed application form.
The application form along with Bulletin of Information (BOI) is obtainable from the office of the Assistant Registrar, Faculty of Medical Sciences, 6th Floor, V.P. Chest Institute Building, University of Delhi, Delhi-11007, against a Bank Draft/Banger’s Cheque drawn on any Nationalized Bank in favour of ‘Registrar, University of Delhi’ payable at Delhi in the following manner:
(i) By hand for Rs.550/- (Rupees Five Hundred Fifty only) between 10 am and 3 pm. On all working days form 27th February, 2008 to 3rd April, 2008.
(ii) By post for Rs.600/- (Rupees Six Hundred only) along with a self addressed envelop of 10”x8” upto 17th March 2008.

ACMS established under the aegis of Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) invites application from eligible/entitled candidates for admission to MBBS Course 2008-2009 recognized by GURU GOBIN SINGH INDRAPRASTHA UNIVERSITY (GGSIPU), Delhi.
ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS:
The Children of following category of Army personnel are eligible:-
(a) Serving or retired army personnel in receipt of regular pension or SS officers served in Army for a minimum period of 10 years (b) Army personnel killed in action or those died during their service or disabled in action in Army (c) AMC/ADC officers presently serving with Navy or Air Force, served in Army for a minimum period of 10 years and are members of AOBF. (d) MNS Officers served in Army for a minimum period 10 years as regular MNS. APS personnel on deputation and have put in at least 10 years of service in Army or who have been directly recruited/commissioned in APS and retired after completing their minimum service qualifying for pension and TA personnel completed 10 years embodied service. (e) Adopted wards of Army personnel provided they have been legally adopted at least five years before admission. (f) Sons/Daughters of widows of Army personnel who were born of their mother’s first marriage and their mother has later re-married a civilian. (g) Step children of Army personnel who were born out of the wedlock where at least one parent belonged to Army.
AGE: Candidates should be at least 17 years as on 31.12.2008
No of Seats: One hundred (100) seats.
SELECTION: Mandatory for application to appear in Common Entrance Test – Code 23 (CET: MBBS 2008) conducted by GGSIPU, Delhi in two stages. State – I on 08 Jun. 2008 and stage II on 28 Jun. 2008. Eligible candidates short listed on the basis of CET marks will be called for counseling at ACMS in Jul.2008.
