Applications are invited in the prescribed format for admission to 2-Year (4-Sem) MSc(Applied Mathematics) programme with specialization in Computing & Informatics under Faculty of Engineering. The application form and other details may be obtained from the Institute office by paying Rs.300/- (Rs.350/- by post) by DD in the name of “Registrar, Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya” payable at Indore or by downloading the form from http://www.iet.dauniv.ac.in/ or http://www.dauniv.ac.in/ in which case the DD must be enclosed along with filled application form.

Eligibility: 12th passed in Mathematics and BSc/BSc(Hons)/BCA with Maths/IT/Comp/Stats and with min 45% Marks in Aggregate.

An entrance test shall be held in the Institute at 10:30 AM on 05 July 2008. There are total 30 seats with reservation as per norms.

4. Admissions are made on the basis of academic merit, written test and personal interview for all courses except M.A., M.Com., M.Sc., M.Sc. (Home Science), M.A. (Social Science) in Psychology, MPhil (Theology), PGDT and PGDDFM where admissions are made on the basis of academic merit and personal interview only.
5. Written test is not an entrance examination open to all candidates who apply, but it is a part of selection procedure. Only a limited number of candidates will be called for written test on the basis of marks obtained in various prequalifying and qualifying examinations/qualifying examination. Normally such lists are ready by 10th to 15th July of the session and are displayed on the notice board of the concerned Faculty/College. Call letters for written test/interview are sent under postal certificate.
6. Prospectus containing details of courses and admission procedure, Application Form and Syllabus for courses, where written test is prescribed, can be obtained from the Institute’s counter or by post by sending ‘Account Payee’ bank draft in favour of DAYALBAGH EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTE payable at any bank at Agra along with an address chit of 8x4 cms. size as follows:

Limited seats in hostels both for male and female students are available separately.
