THE INSTITUTE:
The Institute is a centre of excellence for value based "Management" and "Information Technology" education. THE PROGRAMMES:
1. PGDM: The programme consists of six trimesters offering specialisation in Finance, Marketing, HRM, Operations, Systems, Information Technology, International Business, Management of Services and Entrepreneurship and small business.
2. PGDM - Finance: This is a unique programme designed and developed keeping in view the need of financial expertise in national/ international financial sector. The programme consists of six trimesters offering specialisation in Treasury Management, Investment management, Risk management and strategic accounting and control.

ELIGIBILITY:

* Candidates seeking admission to LBSIM are required to appear in the Common Admission Test (CAT) to be conducted by IIMs.

* IIMs have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the programme.

PGDM FINANCE


Eligibility

The candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA of any of the universities incorporated by an Act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification recognised by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. The Bachelor degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of three years of education after completing senior secondary, schooling (10+2) or equivalent.

Candidates appearing for the final bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification examination can also apply. Such candidates must produce a certificate from the Principal/Head of Department/Registrar/Director of the University/Institution certifying that the candidate has obtained 50% marks or equivalent based on latest available grades/marks. Such candidates, if selected, will be allowed to join the programme provisionally only if they submit a certificate latest by June 30, 2010 (from the Principal / Registrar of their college/institute issued on or before June 30, 2010) stating that they have completed all the requirements (the results may, however, be awaited) for obtaining the bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification on the date of issue of the certificate. Their admission will be confirmed only when they submit the marks sheet and a certificate of having passed the bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification referred to in the certificate issued by the Principal /Registrar, with at least 50% marks. The deadline for submission of the mark sheet and the certificate is December 31, 2010. Non-fulfillment of this condition will automatically result in the cancellation of the provisional admission.

STEP-1 Admission Test
All candidates seeking admission to LBSIM are required to appear in the Common Admission Test (CAT) to be conducted by IIMs on 28-December 07, 2009. Details for obtaining the CAT bulletin can be taken from the CAT advertisement issued by IIMs on August 30, 2009 in all leading national newspapers and at IIMK website http://www.iima.ac.in

STEP-2 Registration at LBSIM
Besides CAT, candidates are required to register at LBSIM, Delhi through a separate Application Form which will be available along with Information Brochure from September 10, 2009 to Nov. 27, 2009 from Admission Coordinator, LBSIM, Delhi.

STEP-3 GD and Interview at LBSIM
Candidates short-listed on the basis of CAT score will be called for Group Discussion(GD), Extempore and Personal Interview(PI) for final selection at the following places

The weightage for final selection will be 60% for CAT score and 40% for Group Discussion, Extempore,work experience, academic performance and Personal Interview. MD/ MS/ PG/ MDS admissions

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) will conduct ALL INDIA POST GRADUATE ENTRANCE EXAMINATION (AIPGMEE 2010) for admission under 50% seats quota in various Postgraduate (MD/MS/PG Diploma & MDS) courses in Medical and Dental Colleges in the country run by the Union of India, State Governments (except Government of Andhra Pradesh and J&K) and Municipal or other local authorities.

Eligibility
(1) Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply.

(2) The candidate must possess MBBS/BDS degree from a recognized Medical/Dental College or a foreign degree included in the schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 AND full registration either from the Medical/Dental Council of India or State Medical/Dental Council after completing the compulsory rotating internship.

(3) Candidates who have obtained MBBS/BDS from Medical/Dental Colleges in Andhra Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir are not eligible to apply. However, candidates who were nominated by the Government of India (Ministry of Health & Family Welfare/D.G.H.S., New Delhi) to do MBBS/BDS from Medical/Dental Colleges in Andhra Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir are eligible to apply, subject to submission of requisite documents specified in the Prospectus.

Executive Fellow Programme in Management (Exec-FPM) - The Executive Fellow Program is a part-time, non-residential, doctoral program that has been designed to cater to the scholarly needs of working executives/ managers/ faculty members/ researchers.

Eligibility:
For FPM:
Applicants for the FPM should have a Master' s degree or its equivalent in any discipline with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates) , with a Bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification obtained after a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary education or equivalent and three years of relevant work experience. OR

CA/ICWA or CS with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST candidate) and three years of relevant work experience. OR

Applicants for the Executive-FPM

Should be currently employed in a full-time job; and
Must have at least five years of full-time executive/managerial (Or at least 3 year of full-time teaching/research experience) as on December 31, 2009.

Application procedure: Interested candidates are required to (1) apply online to take the XLRI Admissions Test (XAT), and (2) apply online to XLRI for the FPM. Those who will be taking the XAT should visit http://www.xlri.edu and follow the instructions for applying to XLRI for the FPM.

Instead of taking the XAT, FPM candidates can also submit the result of GMAT/GRE/GATE/UGC JRF (research) exam taken during January 2008 and December 2009. Those who have done their PGP from XLRI any IIM, MDI Gurgaon, FMS Delhi, or XIM Bhubaneswar with a CQPI of at least 6.00/8.00 or equivalent will also be exempted from appearing in the XAT. Eligibility:
A degree to M.Sc. or Masters degree in any subject allied to Bio Medical Sciences or Master‘s degree in Nursing with at least 60% marks, or MD/MS or an equivalent degree or Diplomate of the National Board of Examinations or MBBS degree with not less than 55% aggregate marks.

Note: The candidates, who are likely to complete requisite qualification and awarded degree by 30th Jan., 2010 may also apply. However, the candidates who are completing their requisite qualification alter 30th Jan., 2010 are not eligible to take-up this examination.

The forms can also be obtained BY POST by sending a crossed Bank Draft for Rs. 1050/- for General/OBC and Rs. 850/- for S.C. /S.T. category, drawn in favour of the "AIIMS-PG Jan., 2010". The Bank Draft should be payable at New Delhi and should be valid up to March/ April, 2010. Indian Postal Orders, money orders, cheques or cash will NOT be accepted for postal sale.


The request should reach the Assistant Controller of Examinations, All India institute of Medical Sciences. Ansari Nagar, New Delhi-110 608 on or before 10th October, 2009. The address at which Application Form is required should be written clearly in CAPITAL LETTERS and with PIN code. The following words should be written on top of the envelope: "Request for Application Form for AIIMS-PG/Post Doctoral Courses, Jan. 2010 Session".


AIIMS will not be responsible for delay / non-receipt of Application Form caused by illegible or incomplete address.

Admission TO MBA / MCA for wards of Jammu and Kashmir Migrants (Year 2009-10)



Applications are invited from the wards of J & K migrants as per the provisions of the Government of Gujarat, Education Department Notification No. GH/SH/13/2009/MBA/102008/ 633/S dtd. 29/05/2009 for admission to MBA/MCA courses after Graduation in 10 + 2 + 3 / 10 + 2 + 4 pattern in Govt./ Grant-in-aid/Self-financed institutes.

Eligibility for admission of MBA/MCA shall be as per above mentioned Notifications.

Students applying under this category for admissions to the first year MBA/MCA are exempted from GCET-09.

Eligible and interested candidates should apply in the prescribed application form available on the website along with relevant documents and a demand draft for Rs.500/- for MBA/MCA courses in favor of “Gujarat Technological University” payable at Ahmedabad so as to reach the Committee between 22/09/2009 to 24/09/2009 (11.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.) in person or by registered post only.

It is mandatory to produce the Migration Certificate issued from the competent authority along with application, which may be noted. Applications received after the time limit will not be entertained.

Merit list of all eligible candidates shall be placed on the website on 29/09/2009 (Tuesday) at 03.30 p.m.

Counseling program will be held on 30/09/2009 (Wednesday) from 11.00 a.m. at Gujarat Technological University. No individual call letter will be issued. Candidates, whose names appeared in the merit list, shall remain present with all original documents & necessary part fees (Rs.1500/- for Govt. & Grant-in-aid institutes & Rs.20,000/- for self-finance institutes) at their own cost. The candidate remained present without original documents shall not be allowed to take part in the counseling.
