ADMISSION TO B.A International Hospitality Administration

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) invites application for admission to its 3 years Bachelor of Arts (B.A.Degree Programme in International Hospitality Administration commencing from August 11, 2008. This is an ODL technology augmented full time programme, incorporating the courses of IGNOUS and American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute (AH&LEI), USA, and aims to bring to students complete knowledge of functionality and culture of international hospitality so that they can turn out to be thorough professional in their chosen careers.

Eligibility Qualification: Pass in 10+2 examination from a recognised Board/ university or its equivalent qualification with English as one of the compulsory subjects.

HOW TO APPLY
Prospectus can be obtained form Programme Centres (listed in their website; complete address can be downloaded from the IGNOU website): (a) in person on week days during working hours on payment of Rs.250/- in cash or (b) by post sending a Demand Draft for Rs.350/- in favour of IGNOU payable at New Delhi. The Prospectus can be obtained from IGNOU headquarters, New Delhi on weekdays during working hours on payment of Rs.250/- in cash form SR&ED, IGNOU or by post sending a Demand Draft for Rs.350/- in favour of IGNOU payable at New Delhi to the Registrar (SR&ED), Block -12, Indira Gandhi National Open University, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi-110068 (request envelope should be super scribed "Application form for B.A. - IHA). IMPORTANT DATES
Last date for submission of Application: July 14, 2008. Applications should be submitted (by post or in person) only at Programme Centre where the student intends to study.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of a merit list drawn for each Programme Centre. Reservation of seats as per the Government of India rules would be applicable for SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped/ War Window/ Kashmir Migrant
