Sr. Management Program Admission 2010

This one-year Program, currently in its seventh batch, has been designed specifically to equip senior executives with quantitative tools and qualitative perspective so that they can make strategic decisions. This Program will enable participants, which consist of working professional with at least 10 years of work experience, to broaden their business perspective, develop tools and techniques required for managing organizations and very importantly, transform them into strategic leaders in their organizations. The Program has a strong strategic bias.

The Program is divided into two modules—the Introductory Module and the Advanced Module. The Introductory Module focuses on the essentials of functional skills of management. The Advanced Module shifts focus to strategic thinking, decision-making, leadership styles, and managing business globally. Past SMP participants typically consisted of senior executives with work experience ranging from 12-15 years. Companies represented in the past include Infosys, ICICI, Loreal, and ITC among others.
Eligibility: Applicants should be working professionals/self-employed (Need to produce supporting proof) Graduates (10+2+3 ) in any discipline with min. 50% marks [aggregate- considering results of all years (e.g. 3 or 4 together)] recognised by UGC/AICTE
• Minimum 10 years of work experience post completion of graduation is required as on September 1, 2010 Eligible applicants will be selected on the basis of their performance in the Program Aptitude Test (PAT) to be conducted by NIIT Imperia, together with the assessment of background and motivation (Statement of Purpose-Annexure II of the Application Form) based on the application form submitted. Selected applicants need to resubmit the latest proof of current employment at the time of Registration.

• Practicing senior managers who wish to stay updated with contemporary management thoughts

Duration: One Year

Pedagogy: Each module will be taught with the help of case studies, corporate examples and general discussions. Statistical software and online database resources would be used wherever necessary.

Selection Procedure: There is a Common Application and Selection Process for students applying for any number of Programs. All candidates need to complete the Common Application Form (CAF) as the first step in the admission process.
