Postgraduate Programme in Business Management Admission 2010

The Programme is designed to facilitate the development of operationally meaningful concepts and techniques in Management. The functional specialization in Marketing, Finance, Operations, Systems and Human resources allow students to enhance their knowledge base in relevant areas of interest.

Learning Outcomes: At the end of the 16 months course duration, the students will be equipped with sound understanding of concepts in general management and functional specialization. They would also have tools to apply knowledge from the classrooms to real life corporate situations. The three month internship would provide a good training platform to practice these skills.

Duration: 16 weeks
Eligibility: Candidates should have passed in the 10+2+3 system, and should have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from any university approved by Association of Indian universities (AIU) with an aggregate of 50%. Candidates who are final year of their graduation also can apply. Work Experience would be an added advantage.

Admission Procedure: The Admissions Process includes SMOT Aptitude Test (SAT), Group Discussion, Personal Interview. Candidates who carry valid CAT, XAT, and MAT will be exempted from SAT after Selection Panelists discrretion.

Candidates can also download the application (Click here to download the application form), filled in application should be enclosed with a Demand Draft of Rs. 1000/- favouring “Registrar, Bharthidasan University” payable at Trichirapalli and be posted to the above said address. The filled in application forms must be submitted with attested copy of the following certificates:
1) Xth & XIIth Marksheets.
2) Undergraduate Semester wise / Year wise mark sheet.
3) Degree certificate / Provisional certificate.
4) Work Experience Certificate if any applicable.

Candidates waiting for their final year results are also eligible to apply. However, such candidates must produce relevant certificates prescribed for the eligibility with 4 weeks of joining the programme, failing which their student-ship will be cancelled and the entire fee paid will be fortified.
