Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s Certificate Admission 2010

Minimum 3 years (which may be extended by 6 months or so depending upon the performance of the students) Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s Certificate Training Programme duly approved by Director General of Civil Aviation, Govt. of India, for appearing in ‘Mechanical’ and ‘Avionics’ stream. The students have to pass each semester examinations with 70% marks and 80% attendance in each semester before appearing for DGCA AME licence exam.

Eligibility: Passed 10+2 or equivalent with 50% marks each in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry & English and 55% marks in the aggregate in these aforesaid subjects, 60% and above preferred or 3 years State Govt. Diploma in Mechanical/Electronics/Electrical with 60% marks, higher percentage preferred or B.Sc (Pass) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics having obtained 55% marks in their Graduation.

Age Limit: Up to 20 years for 10+2, 22 years for B.Sc and Diploma holder as on 01-07-2010. However, in exceptional case slight relaxation in age may be considered.
Application Procedure: Typed/handwritten application on plain paper, giving complete bio-data along with one passport size colored photograph duly attested by a Gazetted Officer / Principal, date of birth certificate, qualification certificate (10+2 mark sheet) and a demand draft for Rs. 800/- (non-refundable) payable to ‘The Delhi Flying Club Ltd., New Delhi’ must reach the Director(Trg), latest by 14th June 2010 up to 5 p.m. Eligible candidate to report for entrance test covering objective questions of 10+2 standard (Physics, Chemistry & Maths) and essay in English on Sunday 20th June,2010 at 4.00 p.m. in the school premises. Final year students must submit the result by 5th July 2010. Please note that the candidates shall not be intimated individually for test.
