PG Super Speciality Entrance Test - 2011,(DM and MCh courses)

Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka shall be conducting the Post Graduate Super Speciality Entrance Test - 2011 on 19.06.2011 for determining the eligibility for admission of students to DM and MCh courses for the academic year 2011-12 and for admission to seats in Bangalore Medical College & Research Institute, Bangalore, Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, Bangalore, Jayadeva Institute of Cardiology, Bangalore, Vijayanagara Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre, Bellary and Institute of Nephro Urology, Bangalore.



Eligibility:


A person shall be eligible for admission to Post Graduate Super Speciality degree courses only if he / she:




a) is a Citizen of India.



b) has a MBBS Degree from a University established by law in India as recognised by the MCI and must possess recognized degree of MD / MS (or its equivalent recognised degree) as shown below, from a University established by law in India and recognised by the MCI or any other University recognized by the Medical Council of India and declared as equivalent:



DM Cardiac Anaesthesia: MD (Anaesthesia)


DM Cardiology: MD General Medicine / MD Paediatrics


DM Medical Oncology: MD Medicine/MD Paediatrics / MD Radiotherapy


DM Nephrology: MD General Medicine / MD Paediatrics


DM Neurology: MD General Medicine / MD Paediatrics


MCh Cardio Thoracic Surgery: MS Surgery


M.Ch Paediatric Surgery: MS Surgery


MCh Plastic Surgery: MS Surgery


MCh Surgical Gastroenterology: MS Surgery MCh Surgical Oncology: MS Surgery / MSENT / MS Orthopaedics / MSOBG MCh Urology: MS Surgery


c) has not completed 48 years of age on the date fixed as the last date for submitting the application for the Entrance Test.


d) has not failed more than twice in the Post Graduate degree examination.



Entrance Test Fee:
The candidates are required to pay the prescribed fee of Rs. 5,000/- (Rupees five thousand only) through Demand Draft in favour of ‘Registrar, RGUHS, Bangalore’.



Applications & How to Submit:


Application forms can be submitted ONLINE at website: http://www.rguhs.ac.inSubmission of application forms, completed, can be in any of the two following ways:



i) In person: Print out of Application filled online in all respects along with attested copies of all required certificates may be submitted for registration, in person, at RGUHS, 4th ‘T’ Block, Jayanagar, Bangalore - 560 041.
ii) By Post: Print out of Application filled online in all respects along with attested copies of all required certificates may be sent by post for registration to RGUHS, 4th ‘T’ Block, Jayanagar, Bangalore - 560 041. Candidates should super scribe on the cover as 'Application for PGSSET - 2011'.
