About The Clinical Research Program
Program Focus and Objectives
The IFCR-India Canadian Post Graduate Program in Clinical research requires highly skilled professionals to study 52 weeks - full-time. During the 52-week program, scholars will undergo a rigorous program that will empower them with the necessary knowledge and skills to become Clinical Research Associates, Clinical Research Managers, Investigators, Site Coordinators, Data Managers, Regulatory Managers, Auditors, Research Medical Officers, Medical Writers etc.
The program is an extremely intensive one that requires every scholar to partake in and complete not less than 8 clinical research projects that are managed according to the stringent requirements of the US, Canadian, and EU regulatory bodies as well as corporations whose very business is dependant upon their adherence to these same guidelines.
IFCR maintain a strict faculty to student ratio that never eclipses 1-15.
All of their faculty have international clinical research experience and work hands-on with all of our scholars to ensure all scholars receive the attention they need to develop and fine tune the highly sought after skills their future employers will expect them to have.
The Canadian IFCR India program empowers all enrolled PGDCR research scholars to carry out their internship either in the industry, CRO's, hospitals, or laboratories in India or abroad.

Evaluation, Certifications & Awards
The One-year PG Diploma in Clinical Research and Regulatory Affairs is awarded by the Prince Edward College, Canada to all Research Scholars, on successful completion of the program.

Evaluation and Assessment will jointly be carried out by IFCR India and the Academic Board of Prince Edward College, Canada.
Who is Eligible?
Candidates with qualifications falling in the list below are eligible to apply.

Selection Procedure
Final selection of scholars will be made based on overall evaluation of academic credentials, personal interview with the Academic Board, Research Aptitude Test, work experience and application documentation submitted.
All short listed candidates will duly be informed of the result within one week of the interview.
Decisions made by the Academic Board of IFCR-India on selection of candidates will be final. Further re-consideration of application will not be entertained once admission decisions are made.

INTRODUCTION
Engineering is the activity of using scientific understanding and technical knowledge to create useful devices and processes. Management is the activity of delivering them to people at an affordable price. Thus, for survival of any industry, a blend of engineering and management principles play a key role. In the field of aquaculture and fisheries, a wide variety of activities such as site selection, design and construction of farms, facilities, equipment; design and construction of fishing vessels, fishing gear, cage systems for mariculture; formulation and manufacture of feed; processing and value addition of fish; environmental protection etc. require inputs of engineering and management.
OBJECTIVE
The objective of this course is to introduce the fundamental tools and techniques of engineering and management that can be applied to enhance the productivity, profitability, and sustainability of fisheries and aquaculture.

ELIGIBILITY
Scientists in fisheries and aquaculture institutes, teachers in colleges and universities involved in education and research in the field of fisheries and aquaculture, officials in fisheries departments and directorates, banks, government and private organizations are eligible to apply. However, a few students in the level of MSc, PhD and postdoctoral will be accepted provided they have physics and mathematics in their Higher Secondary or Intermediate level.

Objectives Of The Course
"Intelligence Quotient (IQ) gets you hired but Emotional Quotient (EQ) gets you promoted". This popular quote by Times Magazine during late Nineties has made the concept of emotional intelligence more popular among people by highlighting its multiple implications and applications. The uses and utility of emotional intelligence in home, school and workplace have benefitted thousands in many disciplines. This course is designed to sensitise the participants about the concept, theory and applications of emotional intelligence. The participants will get to know the added advantage of EQ-the software of the brain over the hardware (IQ). This programme will also explore how our hearts rule over our heads for creative creation.
