(Common For Both) : -
(i) MBBS / BDS / B.Sc. (Nursing) Degree / BAMS or Equivalent appropriate degree of Unani, Siddha,Yoga and Homeopathy and
(ii) Registration with respective State / National Council

Experience:-
For (I) (H&FWM) - Candidates should have at least two years experience of working in a Govt./ NGO / Private / Corporate Hospital / Institute/ Organization.
For (II) (HM) - At least two years of working experience in respect of MBBS candidates and five years for other candidates i.e. AYUSH, Dental and Nursing, of working in a Govt. / NGO / Private / Corporate Hospital / Institute / Organisation. Preference will be given to those who are holding Administrative Posts.

Fee for each course – Rs.7500/-

It is proposed to conduct Contact sessions on certain Saturdays and Sundays to be announced during each of the first two semesters of the program at Delhi / Bangalore / Chennai / Hyderabad.
Input requirements:
Employed professionals holding an Integrated First Degree of BITS or equivalent such as BE / MSc with minimum one year relevant experience in Consultancy and allied services. Candidates with MCom / ACA / ACS may also be considered on a case by case basis. If the situation warrants, the candidates should be prepared to appear in a written Test and Interview at their own expenses.

This programme conducted in collaboration with Bombay Hospital, Mumbai / Indore and Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore, designed to enhance the management skills of Healthcare professionals, has mandatory intensive contact sessions from July 01 to July 26, 2008 at Bombay Hospital, Mumbai and Indore as well as at CMC, Vellore during the first semester, and at BITS, Pilani (from January 19 to February 14, 2009) during the second semester.
Input requirements:
Employed professionals holding MBBS degree or its equivalent or an Integrated First Degree of BITS or equivalent such as BE / MSc with minimum one year relevant work experience in well-established healthcare organizations.

Special Admission Announcement for 2008-2009 for SC, ST, OBC and PH candidates - PG and PG Diploma, M.Phil., M.Tech., and Ph.D

Special Admission Announcement for 2008-2009
(Mainly for the attention for SC, ST, OBC & PH candidates)

In continuation of the Admission Announcement 2008-2009 dated 28-03-2008 published in all leading news papers including Eenadu/ Hindu, Indian Express, Andhra Jyothi, Times of India etc., inviting applications for admission to post-graduate and research programmes during 2008-2009, the following is notified for the benefit of prospective SC, ST, OBC & PH applicants.

I (i) 15%, 7.5% & 3% seats in each course are reserved for SC, ST & PH candidates respectively with a provision for interchangeability between SC & ST wherever necessary.
(ii) For admission to Integrated Master’s degree, PG and PG Diploma courses, relaxation of marks in the minimum eligible condition for admission is provided. There will be no cut off point in the entrance examination for admission to these courses;
(iii) For admission to M.Phil., M.Tech., and Ph.D., a relaxation of 5% marks I the minimum eligibility condition (subject to a minimum of a second class) will be provided. There will be no cut off marks in the entrance examination (i.e. written and oral test) for admission to these courses also. The cut off marks for final selection will depend on the number of seats.
(iv) Seats available in the University Hostels will be provided to them as per G.O.I. norms.
(v) These students may avail social welfare and other Govts scholarships as per their eligibility.
(vi) Remedial courses in English and other subjects will be arranged if necessary.

II (i) As per the decision of the GOI, (after the clearance form the Honorable Supreme Court of India), 27% of the seats are reserved for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates in al the courses, which will be filled over a period of three years (including the current year 2008-2009). There is no relaxation in the minimum qualification for admission and cost of application cum prospectus for OBCs. The cut-off marks in the entrance examination (both written and interview put together) for OBC candidates would be 10% lower than the cut off marks prescribed for General Category.
(ii) Candidates claiming reservation under OBC category must enclose an attested copy of the Certificate on their OBC and Non-Creamy Layer status to the application issued by a competent authority failing which their application will not be considered under OBC category.
(iii) Those who have already applied without claiming the reservation under OBC category may now send an attested copy of the certificate on their OBC and non-Creamy Layer status with a letter indicating the name of the candidate, course and the subject applied for, so as to reach the Dy. Registrar (A&E), University of Hyderabd on or before 10.05.2008.

Prospectus cum Application forms can be obtained in person from the Academic Section, Office of the Controller of Examinations, Administration Building, University Campus, Hyderabad-500046 or from Golden Threshold (GT) premises of the University at Nampally Station Road, Hyderabad 500001, against cash payment of Rs.50/- for SC, ST & PH candidates and Rs.300/- for OBC candidates. The forms can also be downloaded from the University website available for downloading upto 10.05.2008 and submit along with the prescribed fee of Rs.50/- and Rs.300/- respectively.

Peace refers to living in harmony with oneself and with one's natural and social environment. It subsumes respect for differences, human rights, civic responsibility, social-cohesion, justice and equality. Teachers have a significant role in moulding attitudes of school children and orienting them to peace as a way of life. In order to develop skills and attitudes among teachers/teacher educators to practice and promote peace a training course on Peace Education for teachers will be organized from 12th June to 16th July, 2008 at NCERT Campus, Sri Aurobindo Marg, New Delhi-110016.

(i) Applications are invited in the prescribed format from school teachers and teacher educators from SCERTs who are motivated to carry forward the training. Selection Procedure
All the applications will be evaluated based on academic performance, TOEFL and GRE scores, recommendation letters, statement of purpose, work experience, etc.
All those who meet the minimum criteria for selection will be sent hall ticket for C-GAT which is to be held in Chennai on June 1, 2008
Shortlisted candidates from C-GAT performance will be called for first round of interviews at Chennai to be conducted by SSN SASE faculty.
Further shortlisted candidates will be called for a joint interview by SSN SASE and Carnegie Mellon faculty members at Chennai.
Successful candidates will be offered admission letter by Carnegie Mellon University.

The Program
SSN School of Advanced Software Engineering, Off Chennai, India, in collaboration with Carnegie Mellon University, U.S.A., offers for the first time in India: Carnegie Mellon's Master of Science in Information Technology (MSIT) degree program with specializations in Software Engineering and Embedded Software Engineering.
It is a one and a half year full time residential program. The first year is offered in SSN School of Advanced Software Engineering.
In this period, the students complete core courses, prerequisites, electives and project work. Experienced faculty of SSN SASE and practicing professionals conduct the courses in the first year using Carnegie Mellon courseware. The faculty of SSN SASE and Carnegie Mellon University continuously evaluate the students.
On successful completion of the one-year curriculum in India, the students get a certificate from Carnegie Mellon University. They can then proceed to Carnegie Mellon University to complete further studies in six months, and obtain the MSIT degree. The coursework at Carnegie Mellon University consists of project work under the supervision of Carnegie Mellon University and two electives.
Students desirous of proceeding to Carnegie Mellon University should obtain a valid US visa.
