Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam has invited applications for admission to various PG, Ph.D and M.Phil courses at its 13 teaching schools under the Credit and Semester System, for the Academic Year 2010-11. Schools and respective courses with eligibility are as follows:

a) M.Sc. Disability Studies and Rehabilitation Sciences- Degree in Arts with not less than 45% marks or any Science Degree with a minimum of 50% marks

c) M.Phil. in Special Education and Rehabilitation Sciences - P.G. in Special Education/ M.Ed. degree with not less than 55% marks. Preference to candidates with one paper in Special Education or with experience in reputed centres in Special Education or Diploma in Special Education.
d) M.Phil. in Rehabilitation Psychology - Masters degree in Psychology with not less than 55% marks.
e)M.Phil. in Behavioural Medicine and Rehabilitation (Full-time) - M.B.B.S. with not less than 55% marks. Preference to P.G. Degree holders in Medicine.

Admissions to LL.B, all PG and M.Phil courses are based on marks obtained in the qualifying examinations, Entrance test and Interview. For M.Phil courses 50% seats are reserved for teacher candidates and the remaining 50% for open quota. There will be relaxation of 5% marks in the qualifying examination for SC/ST candidates to LL.B, LL.M and M.Phil courses. For all other PG courses only a pass in the qualifying exam is required for SC/ST candidates. Application forms are available (only) at the M.G University website.

Candidates can pay the Registration fee directly at the MG University Cash counter/ FRIENDS or by way of D.D. drawn in favour of the Finance Officer, Mahathma Gandhi University, payable at SBT- M.G.University Campus Branch (Code No. 669), P.D. Hills P.O., Kottayam. The Registration Fee for M.Phil. Course is Rs. 400/-, MBA Course Rs. 500/- and that for all other courses Rs. 350/-. (SC/ST candidates have to pay only 50% of the registration fee). Duly filled up applications along with registration fee (DD/Pay-in-Slip) and documents have to reach the Directors of the schools concerned.
