ADMISSIONS 2010-2012

The Institute of Rail Transport (IRT) opens registration/enrolment for the following Diploma Courses through correspondence.

Graduates can take up these courses for improving thei.- career prospects particularly in any organization related to Rail Transport, Port Development, Export, Cargo handling, Multi-Modal & Logistics Management.

Rail Transport and Management

Course Fee : Rs.4000/-

Duration : One year.

Port Development and Management

Course Fee : Rs.6000/-,

Duration : Two year.

Multi-Modal Transport (Containerisation) Logistics Management

Course Fee : Rs.4000/-

Duration : One year.

Eligibility : For all courses a Degree/Diploma in any subject from the recognized University / Institute will be sufficient.

All the courses are recognised by Ministry of Railways.

Apply for prospectus on payment of Rs.100/- cash or by Demand Draft in favour of Institute of Rail Transport payable at New Delhi alongwith a self addressed and stamped envelope (11" x 5") of Rs.15/-.

Please mention the course name clearly in the request letter send for the prospectus & write full name/address and course name in capital on the back of the draft.

The last date of submission of applications for the courses is 30th June 2010.

The Institute remains closed on Saturdays & Sundays.
