Fee:
Eligibility: Bachelor Degree in Science with Chemistry/Biochemistry as one of the subjects or Agriculture / Engineering / Technology. Mathematics as one of the subjects in Plus 2 or Pre University or at Degree level is compulsory for admission.
Applicants may kindly see for eligibility criteria prior to applying, as the Bank Demand Draft of Rs. 500/- is non-refundable.
Minimum marks requirement:
(i) 55% in optional subjects of B.Sc. pass course, (50% for SC/ST category)
(ii) 50% for B.Sc.(Hons.) course (45% for SC/ST category)
(iii) Minimum second class for Agriculture / Engineering / Technology
Entrance/Aptitude Test:
Students who meet the eligibility criteria are required to take an entrance / aptitude test which will be held at Mysore and New Delhi on July 18, 2010.
Reservation *:
For SC / ST / OBC and Persons with physical disabilities - Applicable for admission to the course as per the Government Orders in this regard.
* Candidates claiming reservation under the specific category are to provide attested documents as proof in support of their claims.
How To Apply: Those who have appeared for final year examination and expect to get stipulated marks or class can also apply. Marks / Grades of all the years of qualifying Degree examination should reach this office as soon as possible, but not later than July 30, 2010.
Please send DD for Rs.500/- drawn in favour of DIRECTOR, CFTRI, MYSORE, along with the filled in application form to "The DIRECTOR, CFTRI, MYSORE - 570 020." Completed applications should reach the Director, CFTRI, Mysore on or before June 9, 2010.
The application form can be downloaded from the web site and the duly completed application form in all respect may please be sent to the Director, CFTRI, Mysore - 570020 along with a DD for Rs. 500.00 drawn in favour of DIRECTOR, CFTRI, Mysore, on or before June 9, 2010.
Applications issued are not transferable. The Institute shall not be held responsible for any postal delay or otherwise. Any dispute arising out of the said admission, the Civil Court, Mysore, only shall have the jurisdiction.

Course Name: Certificate in Flour Milling Technology CFMT
Course Description: Regular Residential Course in Flour Milling Technology at International School of Milling Technology (ISMT) scheduled for the year 2009 -2010.
Fee:
Eligibility: Degree/Diploma in Engineering/tech. OR Any Degree from a recognized University(Art, Commerce, Science or equivalent) Flour Milling Technology OR City & Guilds Certificate in Flour Milling.
Selection is based on the merit list of marks/grade of the qualifying degree examination, experience in flour milling and sponsorship and also if required an aptitude test/interview conducted by CFTRI.
The course fee is Rs. 75000/- for Indian participant and U.S. $ 8,000/- for participant from abroad.
The participant will have to bear the boarding & lodging expenses provided at the International Hostel situated inside the campus.
How To Apply: Request for application form and the prospectus which should be accompanied by crossed Indian Postal Order or Demand Draft for Rs. 150/- for Indian participant and U.S. $ 25 in the form of international money order or bank draft for a foreign participant, drawn in favour of “The Director, CFTRI, Mysore”. The application complete in all respects should reach “The Head, ISMT, CFTRI, Mysore-570 020, India, on or before 31st May 2009. Candidates selected for the course will be intimated about their selection.
