Course Description: Master of Computer Applications (MCA) [Faculty of Engineering and Technology]

Eligibility: Graduation in any discipline, from any recognized University, with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Candidates should have Mathematics as one of the subject at least up to 10+2 level. Candidates whose final year result is awaited will be admitted provisionally and shall be confirmed on submission of the final year Marks Sheet with the required percentage of Marks.


Admission Requirement

Selection will be based on the candidate's performance in Institute's MCA Entrance Test. For seats under Management quota candidates with valid score in any State Level Entrance Examination are also eligible.


Admission Procedure

Entrance test would be conducted on 14.06.2009 at 3.00 PM at the following Centers:


Allahabad, Bhopal, Bikaner, Chandigarh, Delhi, Ghazizbad, Guwahati, Jaipur, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lakshmangarh, Lucknow, Meerut, Patna, Ranchi, Udaipur. The Institute reserves its right to change the Centers, if warranted.


First Admissions would be made under General Quota based upon the Institute's MCA Entrance Test.
After the Test at the Centre, the selected candidates would be either offered admission or put on waiting list. If all the seats under General Quota are not filled at the Centers, then admission would be offered to candidates kept in waiting list. The remaining vacancy in General Quota, if any and seatsunder Management Quota would be filled on merit from the candidates having rank in State Level Entrance Examination up to a cut-of-line to be announced before the first counseling.


The selected candidates with confirmed admission offer at the centers of Institute's MCA Entrance Tests would be asked to deposit non-refundable commitment fees of Rs. 10,000/- and would be asked to report on a specified date at Lakshmangarh for formal admission and start of class work. If a candidate does not report on the scheduled date for the purpose, her seat would be offered to the candidate in waiting and the commitment fee would be forfeited.
