ADMISSION : Thirty First Post Graduate Diploma Course in Plant Protection from Directorate of Plant Protection
Applications are invited from Un-Employed Agricultural Graduates for Admission to the Thirty First Post Graduate Diploma Course in Plant Protection, scheduled to commence at the National Plant Protection Training Institute, Hyderabad from 1st July 2008. The course provides specialized training on various aspects of plant protection and is intended for the benefit of persons desirous of making plant protection as a career.
*SEATS: 20 (5 seats reserved for SC/ST disabled - 3-SC. 1ST. 1-Disabled person, Failing which for other).
Preference in Admission will be given to Candidates belonging to Farmer's Family. A Certificate from Tehsildar/Deputy Tehsildar in Support of Father’s Occupation is Essential.
Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture.
Duration: 10 Months.
Stipend: Rs.2000/- per month
Medium of Instruction: English
Accommodation: Free Hostel accommodation will be provided.
No traveling allowance will be allowed for join the course or leaving it on completion. Only such Un-employed Agricultural Graduates who are validly registered with Employment Exchange are eligible for admission. Trainees shall have to execute a Bond for refund of stipend amount in case they discontinue the training course or in securing employment in the Private Sector.
Applications in plain paper, giving particulars only in English regarding full name (in capital letters), date of birth nativity, present and permanent address with pin code, passport size photograph, telegraphic, address, status, whether belonging to SC/ST, educational qualifications with percentage of marks/overall grade pint average (OGPA) at all examination commencing from High School or equivalent, pass experience, if any, along with the Employment Exchange Registration number and attested copies of all certificates including nativity should reach the Additional Plant Protection Adviser, National Plant Protection Training Institute, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad-500030, Andhra Pradesh, on or before 30th April, 2008. Original certificate are to be produced at the time of admission. The decision of the Plant Protection Adviser to the Government of India in the selection of candidates for admission shall be final.
