5 Years Integrated M. Sc. / 6 Years M. Tech. in Biotechnology


Applications are invited for admission to the Five Years Integrated M. Sc. / Six Years M. Tech. in Biotechnology program of the University of Pune, on the basis of an entrance test.

Eligibility: Candidates appeared/passed 10+2 level science examination of any recognized Board with 60% (Open) and 55% (Reserved) are eligible to apply.

Reservations: 50% seats are reserved for SC, ST, DT, NT & OBC candidates from Maharashtra as per Maharashtra Govt. rules. 3% seats are reserved for Physically handicapped students. 50% seats are for open category candidates, of which, 70% are reserved for candidates from Maharashtra and 30% are for candidates outside Maharashtra.

Examination Fee: Rs. 1000/- (Open Category), Rs. 600/- (Reserved Category) payable by D. D. drawn from any Nationalized bank in favour of "Registrar, University of Pune" payable at Pune.

Application Procedure: On-line forms will be available from April 15, 2008 on the IBB website http://www.unipune.ernet.in/ibb. Follow instructions given on the website.

Last Date for submitting (on-line) form: May 22, 2008

Last Date for receiving D.D and printed application form: May 29, 2008

Entrance Test Center: The examination will be held in Pune, the name of the Centers will be available on the website www.unipune.ernet.in/ibb
